💔 With shattered hearts, we have to share that our Precious Winnie passed away today. She was only 4 years old — so young, so full of promise, and gone far too soon.

Earlier today, Whinny suffered a sudden, catastrophic leg injury. Despite immediate care and every effort, the kindest — and hardest — decision was to let her go peacefully and without pain.

Miss Winnifred as we loving called her was truly special. She had the softest eyes, the brightest spirit, and a voice we’ll never forget. She always whinnied when she saw you — her way of saying hello, of making sure you knew you were noticed and loved.

We had so many hopes for her future, but even in her short time with us, she gave more love and light than some do in a lifetime.
We’re incredibly grateful to our vet and our barn family, who were there with us in her final moments — offering compassion, support, and care when we needed it most.

Run free now, sweet girl. You were so deeply loved in the short time you were here with us 🐴❤️

✨ Stable Life Funding Announcement ✨

We are so excited to share that Stable Life Inc. has been awarded $50,000 through the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Community Violence Prevention Grants Program, under the Office of Women and Gender Equality.
This funding will support a 12-week, trauma-informed initiative for Indigenous youth and their families, combining private and group equine-assisted sessions rooted in culturally safe practices. 🐎💙

We are deeply grateful to the Honourable Sherry Gambin-Walsh, Minister Responsible for Women and Gender Equality, and to the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and Women and Gender Equality Canada for recognizing the importance of programs that foster healing, resilience, and safe spaces for Indigenous youth and families.
This grant helps us continue building a stronger, healthier community where people feel supported, empowered, and connected.

Thank you to everyone who stands with us and believes in the power of healing through horses. Together, we are making a difference. 💙✨

Details on registration will come in the following weeks.

The Honourable Sherry Gambin-Walsh, Minister Responsible for Women and Gender Equality, today announced more than $828,000 in funding for 19 projects through the Province’s Community Violence Prevention Grants Program. 🌟 Meet Winnie! 🌟

We’re so excited to welcome a new pony to the barn family at Stable Life! 🐴💜
Winnie (formerly known as Precious) was rescued by a kind family when she was just a foal. For the past 4 years, they gave her a loving home and the best start in life. As they are no longer able to care for her, they’ve entrusted her to us — and we are so grateful.

At only 4 years old, this tiny but mighty pony is full of heart. She really is a precious pony, and we know she’ll be a wonderful addition to our herd, bringing joy and healing as part of our mental health and wellness programs. 💕

Please help us give Winnie the warmest welcome to her forever home at Stable Life!
