🔥 Do you know how to spot the stages of burnout?

Knowing how to spot the signs and listening to your body can help you prevent deep burnout and protect your overall health. You can learn more about burnout in our recent blog.

Five Stages of Burnout November 5, 2025 by Nicole Bigar Most people run into a state of burnout at some point. It might sneak up after too many long nights at work or from trying to balance more than you can handle. At first, you tell yourself it’s fine and keep pushing forward. Then one day, even...

Spooky season is upon us! 👻

It’s a great opportunity to reflect on how we show up in the world. Who do we present to society, and what parts of ourselves do we like to hide?

There is no shame in being uncertain or afraid of what taking off the “mask” might be like and letting true identity show. Vulnerability is where it all begins, and you’d be surprised at how healing it really is to allow ourselves to fully be seen.

So this is your gentle encouragement to pause, reflect and take a moment to lower your mask, even if only a little. ❤️

A New Adventure

Since 2004, our GSWC team has run a high quality men’s health facility - Sunshine Coast Health Centre. We have cared for over 3000 men since then with our skilled team of medical and psychology professionals. In our experience, allowing clients to be in a gender specific facility greatly improves treatment focus and success.

GSWC has come together because of our desire to provide the same advanced and specialized care for women that we do for men. It’s difficult to start a brand new program with the same level of quality it took years to build at our other facility. But with a highly trained team, enough resources and the patience to prepare this program over the two years it took, we feel more than ready to meet the needs of women who seek modern, evidence-based approaches for their mental health and addiction challenges. Call our toll-free admissions line today at 1.866.487.9040 for more information.
