Like a match, a healing crisis doesn’t burn and burn and burn infinitely, it is the spark that allows the illumination of where there is resistance, stagnation or simply more energy stored that is preventing you from becoming aquatinted with your Whole Healed Self.

What a healing crisis isn’t
- Permanent/ chronic
- A sign of previous failings or punishment or that you’re broken
- Causing disregulation/ destabilization
- Loss of function
- The symptoms/ signal stays the same (intensity, frequency, duration)
- Something that pushes you beyond tolerance
- Necessarily you moving ‘too fast’ (use discernment here)
- Dissociation masquerading as spirituality
- Something that strips you of discernment, support, agency, sovereignty
- Necessary to signal healing

Healing can be uncomfortable and at times even painful (headache for example) but it will not take create permanent and persistent pain. It will not require you to abandon any part of yourself.

I also wake up super tired bc it’s like I didn’t actually sleep..? No sleep paralysis tho. And I can even wake up in the middle of the night & when I ‘fall back asleep’ it’s the same thing.
Also it’s not a ‘false wake up’
