Thank you to the teachers and students of grade 2/3 for coming and sharing the festivities with us today!! And to our amazing cooks for putting together such a festive meal and snacks!!!!! Also to all the spooky staff and visitors we had!!! Wishing everyone a safe and fun Halloween 🎃

We enjoyed a full day of Halloween Eve festivities. 2 seperate parades from the playschool and then pumpkin painting! 🥰 if Halloween Eve was this much fun Halloween Day should be Spooook-tacular!

We are excited to Have Arbutus Holiday from Texada Island BC, join us at the care home this coming Wednesday October 8th at 1:30! Make sure to stop by for some entertainment followed by coffee and a visit with our residents!

Arbutus Holiday is an acoustic duo based on Texada Island BC (Canada). They have played numerous Pubs, Seniors homes and Farmers' Markets across BC, AB, SK and MB. They play a mix of folk, indie rock, blues and country - covers and originals.

Thank you to Macey Mitchell for choosing to spend time with our residents for a fun little fall craft! We had a lot of fun and the craft board looks beautiful with their artwork on display!

You may have heard from your loved ones that we had people crawling around our crawlspaces this week and that in fact is true! Access cable spent most of the week here with a large crew crawling around the crawlspaces and rewiring our entire building to digital cable. If your loved one already subscribes to cable through us, this transition has been completed and new equipment has been installed. If you are not subscribed to cable, please contact the office at 306-547-3366 and we can get this hooked up for you. Everyone in the building is currently subscribed to the Silver package which includes all channels listed under the bronze and silver packages. IF you want to upgrade your loved one to the GOLD package, this is an option but please call Candace at the office and she can guide you through it.
Staff are here to help the transition with the new remotes and channels, so if your loved one contacts you feeling frustrated please encourage them to ask the staff. Included for your reference is a picture of the remote. 1. Power, 2. Channel up/down, 3. Volume up down and 4. Guide (may be easier to leave this option out for some and encourage channel up / down use). This remote has been programmed to each TV so they no longer need to use their other remote to turn on / off tv! Again, please encourage them to ask any staff member for help when needed, we want to make this as seamless and easy as possible!

Also: Please note: the prices included in this pamphlet are prices for the PUBLIC to pay, this is NOT what your loved one will pay - our cable prices stay the same - they have not changed! :)

Its been a busy week here at our home! Huge shout out to Ron Schiller and his crew for their meticulous work replacing the resident windows down B wing. From start to finish Ron and his crew moved / covered the furniture needed, replaced the windows, removed / re-hung the blinds, replaced and painted the trim and even took the time to educate our elderly residents on how to properly use their new windows. All service that goes well above and beyond and so greatly appreciated! We highly recommend Ron for your window needs and look forward to working with him and his crew in the spring to replace the rest of our resident windows! Here is a sneak peak of the before / after look!

Our phone line has been intermittent since Friday. Sasktel is working on it. I have now asked Sasktel to forward the phones to my cell phone so we should not miss anymore calls however I do apologize for the interruptions this past weekend 🙏🏻
