Two great things happened to Jim Good!

1) Jim stopped by Tourism Prince George to say hello to some of his old friends and the staff treated him to some new Mr. PG socks for his birthday! In fact, all net proceeds from the sale of Mr. PG socks for the month of February 2026 are going to the incredible people at Prince George Search and Rescue.

2) Jim's only birthday wish this year was to enjoy a cheeseburger at the Alpine Pub & Grill, as he knew the original owners from Germany many decades ago. Jim can only afford to eat out a couple of times per year, so he was delighted when someone at the Alpine recognized him and generously covered his bill.

We've said it before and we'll say it again - the Prince George community is truly special.

Presented by the Prince George Chamber of Commerce, Jim Good is the official winner of the Excellence in Environmental Impact Award!

Jim received this prestigious recognition at the 40th Business Excellence Awards. As soon as Jim got home to Goodsir Nature Park, he immediately hung the award up on his wall.

Thank you to everyone for their support and to all the nominees and finalists for what you do! While I may not have won, I feel like a winner everyday.
