🦷 PapadopSmiles Snacking Tips for a Merry Smile over the Holidays! 😄✨

1. 🍬 Sticky Toffees and candies: Sticky situations aren’t just for elves! Be careful with holiday candies that may be sticky, chewy or hard! 🍬

2. 🍭 Candy Canes: Twisty, turny, and tempting, but way too crunchy! Bite into one of these and one of your braces may pop off. Enjoy a candy cane if you wish but be careful—don’t bite into it! 🌀🦷

3. 🌰 Chestnuts: Roasting by an open fire? Awesome! Enjoying them as holiday snacks? Not so much. 🔥❌

4. 🍫 Toblerone bars: Those chocolate peaks might seem weak, but they are mountainous and will always win against your braces! ⛰️🍬

5. 🍎 Candy Apples: A shiny, sweet trap! Beware of the crunchy coating – your braces prefer a light candy snowfall, not a candy avalanche! ❄️

🧤All through the month of December we accepted donations of new mittens and gloves to donate to charity. All patients who brought in a donation received a ballot for a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card. 🤩

Thank you to everyone who dropped off mittens and gloves. We donated these just in time for the holidays so that many people in need can keep warm during the coming months.

💙🩵Gratitude.

Gratitude for the volunteers who run Romero House 365 days a year and do so “for the greater good”. Gratitude for those who donate their time, their money, or their food and resources to keep this non-profit running 43 years and counting.

Each year before closing for the holidays, we head to Romero house on our last day and spend half a day helping Evelyn carry on her mother‘s legacy. This is one of our favourite days of the year for us as a team and it has nothing to do with braces, Invisalign or teeth. It has everything to do with lending a hand to the unsung heroes of our community and simply being there for our city’s most vulnerable.

Please consider helping Romero House by either volunteering or donating what you can.For those wondering what Romero house is in need of at the moment, they are looking for pop, candy, canes, and baked goods.

Be grateful for everything you have, remain humble, do good, and be kind in this life.

Lilo 🐶 and members of our Papadopsmiles Orthodontics team were happy to donate toys, food and supplies yesterday to the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue from their holiday wishlist for our furry friends over the holidays! 🎄🐕🐈

Smiling’s our favourite! 😀

Poppy began her orthodontic treatment at Papadopsmiles Orthodontics with Dr. Papadop and our team, and we couldn’t be more excited! 😃

This early phase of orthodontic treatment utilizing clear aligners is used to create space for adult teeth that do not have enough room to come in.

The Canadian Association of Orthodontists recommends that all children see an orthodontist at age 7 so that the developing teeth and jaws can be evaluated by a specialist. Look no further than Dr. Papadopoulos and our team! ➡️ Dr. Papadopoulos received extensive training in pediatric dentistry prior to becoming an orthodontist while he was a dentist at BC Children’s Hospital!
