Sharing this here ... I am so grateful to have recently opened Red Raspberry Counselling Services to continue supporting perinatal mental health, along with general mental health needs (in person, in KL and Timmins, and virtually - across Ontario).
Have you been thinking about therapy but aren’t sure where to start? At Red Raspberry Counselling, I offer a supportive space and evidence-based approaches for a wide range of needs.
You can start with a free consultation to explore working together, or book a first session. In-person (KL and Timmins) or virtual (Ontario-wide) sessions available.

Things to know:
• Therapy is collaborative; you get to move at the pace that feels right for you.
• You don't have to share or disclose everything to experience growth, shifts, and healing.
• I am located in Kirkland Lake, ON, at the Hear Right building on Government Rd.
• Timmins and area clients wishing to have in-person sessions in Timmins, please reach out to organize a day/time. (julieanne@redraspberrycounselling.ca)
• I also specialize in grief and loss, perinatal mental health, trauma recovery, and offer somatic approaches.
• Reduced-fee sessions are available.
• I am an NIHB provider and have experience working with inter-generational trauma and remote communities.
• I am a Registered Social Worker, licensed and covered by most health insurance plans (check your individual plans to confirm).
• I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families in the perinatal field and this experience deeply informs my work as a therapist to companion and support people with care.
• I work with organizations across Ontario such as CDSB, EarlyON, BridgeWay Family Centres, delivering programs, support, and professional workshops/services and welcome collaborations and projects.
• You might also see me on Clarity Counselling Services' team (in the Timmins area) - where my therapist journey started, or on the University of Calgary's team as a researcher in perinatal health in the Arctic.
