There isn’t a “perfect time” to start therapy. And we know that it is a big step to take for a lot people.
We try our best to make the process as comfortable as possible, but we know that it is not an easy thing to begin.
We don’t like to use the words ‘scary’ and ‘therapy’ in the same sentences very often, but we understand that sometimes, therapy can feel scary. 😱
Personally, we don’t feel like our therapists are very scary ... they are all actually quite lovely people ... it’s why they are with us, at Social Shift. Really cool people work with us. We are not biased at all ...

Most people start therapy somewhere in the middle,
when things feel heavy, confusing, or just… “off”. We are used to hearing a lot of the same things about therapy from people that life just doesn’t feel like it did before, or that people don’t feel like themselves anymore.
We get that. Life gets hard, it is messy, it is hard to find the best time for therapy when life is already so busy and full of endless priorities.
But when do you become the priority? ⁉️
