The Winners of the 2025 Door Decorating Contest
We are so proud of the creativity and teamwork shown by our ECPs and residents. Each cottage door was transformed into something special, bringing festive cheer to everyone who passed by.
Every winning entry included an Eden Story that beautifully reflected the inspiration behind the door, highlighting the meaningful interaction, collaboration, and assistance shared between ECPs and residents. These stories truly captured the spirit of community and connection that makes our cottages feel like home.

All through the cottages, turkeys were cooking, filling the air with the most delightful holiday aromas. ECP's shared smiles, laughter, and joyful moments with the residents as everyone gathered together. Bellies were happily filled with a delicious meal shared by all. Wishing everyone a season full of warmth, joy, and Happy Holidays! 🎄✨

Christmas door decorating time for 2025 is here! Our residents chose a Winter Wonderland theme and enjoyed working together to cut decorations, add pictures and stickers, and share their own Christmas décor. The theme brought back cherished memories of winter activities, cozy moments by the fire, and time spent with family and friends. This activity was a wonderful success, highlighting teamwork, joy, and the 10 Principles of the Eden Philosophy

A lovely Eden Moment unfolded in the Bistro recently. Since September, a wooden drawing mannequin named “Taylor” has been standing sentinel at the South View Tower reception, dressed lightly for the changing seasons. Today, one of our residents and her daughter decided that a simple festive ribbon wasn’t quite enough. They lovingly created a warm and wonderfully festive outfit for Taylor, ensuring our front guard would stay cozy even in the coldest temperatures. It was a joy to watch this come together, and I am truly thankful to Donna and her mom, Eleanor, for the laughter and happiness it has brought—not just to me, but to them as well. We’ve shared many giggles, and we hope Taylor brings a smile to everyone who spots them at reception (even if “Razzle” the elf might be a little jealous!). Thanks Tarina for the lovely story🎄😊
