Happy Canada Day from all of us at New Found Safety. This is a picture of my 3 yr old son, he's the reason why I teach First Aid. Statistics show that 90% of the time a person does first aid it's on a close friend or family member. Being prepared and calm in any situation is key when helping others or saving a life! We all knew that the cold and snow would catch up to us at some point! With the deep freeze in place and the snow falling, stay safe.
Be prepared for anything- be sure to keep safety kits in vehicles along with your first aid kits. Keep warm and keep everything covered. Hypothermia and frostbite can occur faster than we think.
