On Sunday, June 2, 2024 I’ll be walking with communities across Canada to raise funds to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis at the Gutsy Walk for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.
📣This year, I am excited to share that I will be Saskatchewan's Provincial Honoury Chair for Gutsy Walk! 😃👏🙌🎉
And I need your help!
Crohn’s and colitis are diseases that cause the body to attack its own digestive tract - leading to intense abdominal pain, nausea, exhaustion, and frequent, urgent trips to the washroom. They can require extended hospitalization and surgery, including removing part of the colon.
We still don’t know exactly what causes Crohn’s or colitis, and that makes these diseases difficult to treat.
Funds raised through Gutsy Walk enable vital patient programs, like peer and group counselling and groundbreaking research.
