We’re incredibly proud to have received this award for the 3rd consecutive year. Recognition like this reflects the work our team does every day to make counselling more accessible and supportive for our community.

At Bloom, we aim to do things a little differently — offering daytime, evening, and weekend appointments, no waitlists, and working to get new clients in within about a week, if not sooner.

Most importantly, we meet clients where they are and create an individualized approach for every person seeking support through Bloom.

Keely has officially completed extensive coursework, evaluations, and examinations and is now a Certified Professional Life Coach.

Life coaching remains available to new and existing clients seeking support with goal-setting, navigating life transitions, building confidence, and creating meaningful change. It is a process of working through your thoughts, exploring root causes, and challenging yourself in a safe, supportive space with Keely's guidance and partnership.

Thank you! We’re so grateful to our clients for helping us support the Z99 Radiothon this year. Through proceeds from new client visits and life coaching sessions, Bloom was proud to contribute $1,280 to this incredible fundraiser.

Thank you to the Z99 team for the amazing work that goes into putting on this event each year, and to our entire community for showing up in such a powerful way. Together, $413,607 was raised — funding that helps save babies’ lives right here in our community.

International Women’s Day began over a century ago as a movement for women’s rights — advocating for fair pay, better working conditions, and the right to have women’s voices heard. What started as a fight for equality has grown into a global day to recognize the impact women make in every field and every community.

In mental health, women have long been at the forefront of creating spaces for empathy, understanding, and healing. The work of a counsellor is powerful — it requires compassion, strength, and the ability to hold space for people in some of their most vulnerable moments.

Today, we celebrate the incredible women on our team who show up every day to support, empower, and walk alongside their clients through life’s challenges.

Veronica has opened up more availability and is now welcoming new clients 🤍

As a Registered Social Worker & Certified Perinatal Mental Health Counsellor, she supports individuals navigating:

• Anxiety, stress & burnout
• Depression & mood concerns
• Relationship & communication challenges
• Grief & life transitions
• Trauma-informed support
• Coping skills & emotional regulation
• Personal growth & self-esteem development
• Perinatal mental health – including fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, birth trauma, and the emotional transition into parenthood
• Parenting stress
• Aging & disability-related concerns

Veronica is especially passionate about supporting individuals and families during the perinatal period, offering compassionate, non-judgmental care through the ups and downs of trying to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and early parenting.

She integrates evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), tailoring care to meet each client’s unique needs.

From January 22 to February 16, Keely be away, and Sera will be taking over our main phone line. Many of you may recognize her, as she’s covered before, but we wanted to formally introduce her!

Sera is currently studying to become a Clinical Counsellor and will be supporting clients who call the office during this time.

📧 As a reminder to existing clients, whenever possible, please continue to email your counsellor directly for appointment changes or scheduling needs.

Thank you for your understanding—we’re grateful to have Sera supporting our team while Keely is away.

Big News! 🎓✨

We’re thrilled to celebrate Cassie on the completion of her Master of Social Work (MSW)! This is a huge professional milestone and reflects her continued commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to our clients.

With this achievement, her session rates will be updated to align with MSW credentials. Effective March 1, rates to see Cassie will be:
• $175 – Individual sessions
• $250 – Couples & family counselling
