2025 was a big year for me. I moved my practice in April, I did a lot of continuing education and my practice grew a lot. It was amazing and busy.

I have the best clientele and I appreciate everyone who has received a treatment from me, who have recommended me and followed me with another clinic move.

In case you find the numbers interesting (like me) since April; I did 597 treatments 73% of which were book online, most were 60 minutes and booked on average 8 days in advance. Thursdays were my busiest days of the week and 1:00 was the most popular time of day booked.

When do you set and re-evaluate your goals? Are you a new year new me person? Do you set an intention or theme for the year? Do you make a bingo board of all the big and small things you want to do in the upcoming year? Are you just planning on surviving the rest of winter and make your goals in the spring?

All valid options and opting out entirely is valid too.

I find myself making and updating my goals when the seasons change, but last year I made a 2025 bingo board of all the things I wanted to do and was excited for. Did I do everything? No. But it was fun so I made another board for this year too.

Are you like me, feeling like December just flew by? How is it the New Year already?

December was so busy for me in the clinic. My schedule filled up much earlier than it has in previous years and I am so appreciative of you booking your appointments in advance.

If you are thinking about plans and goals for 2026 make sure to include massage. This is the perfect time to look at your benefits plan. See if you’re covered under a partner’s plan? If not are you eligible to be added to a partner’s plan? Do you have a health spending plan? Once you know how much coverage you have make a plan to use it all and space your treatments throughout the year.

What is your relationship with rest?

Rest is productive. It is necessary for you to function, to show up for people important to you and for your community.

Today is my last day off after five days away from the clinic. I have two full days in the clinic to finish off December then two more days off before coming back in the new year.

This time off has been wonderful. I had no pressure of expectations on how I spent my time which was exactly what I needed. I spent some time with family, with my dog, working on craft projects, drinking coffee and taking naps. It’s been amazing.
