🎵 Now Registering: Music in Me Group 🎵
Our Music in Me group is back! A fun, engaging group therapy program designed to support children with speech, language, and social communication needs through music-based activities.
Using singing, rhythm, movement, and play, children build foundational communication skills such as joint attention, turn-taking, and social interaction - all in a supportive small-group environment.
This group is ideal for children who learn best through music and movement, and provides meaningful opportunities to practice skills in a motivating, play-based setting.
📍 January 27, February 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 5:00-5:45

Season 3 of Social Connections Flag Football is here and registration is open. This unique program, for children 7-10, combines clinic-based social learning with real-world practice through flag football! 🏈
What makes this program special?
Children learn and practice foundational social competencies in clinic, then apply those skills in a natural, motivating group setting outside the clinic. Skills targeted include:
✔️ Teamwork & collaboration
✔️ Problem-solving
✔️ Turn-taking & sharing
✔️ Emotional regulation
✔️ Self-advocacy & perspective-taking

🎄✨ 5th Annual Speech & Language Builders Christmas Party ✨🎄
We had such a wonderful time celebrating together at our 5th annual Christmas party! This year, The Glassy Gardener joined us and guided our team through creating beautiful fused-glass Christmas trees. Such a fun and creative way to kick off the evening - and a way to find that some of us are a little more artistic than others 😄
Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at The Crave and, most importantly, the chance to spend time together outside of our busy schedules. We don’t often get to all be in one place, so these moments mean a lot to us. Although we missed Leanne and Colleen this year!You two were certainly in our thoughts.
Feeling grateful for this amazing team and the work we get to do together.

We are excited to welcome Colleen to the Speech & Language Builders team!
Colleen is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Saskatchewan (CSASK) and a licensed member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). She holds both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Minot State University.
Colleen brings extensive experience working with preschool and school-aged children. Her areas of focus include speech sound disorders, language disorders, literacy development, and collaborative work with families and educators. She is dedicated to providing evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming care and supporting each child in building strong communication skills that enhance both social and academic growth.
Colleen is also passionate about empowering families with knowledge and practical strategies to support their child’s progress beyond the therapy room.
Please join us in welcoming Colleen as we are thrilled to have her expertise and warm approach as part of our team.
