Day ruined!
Seriously surprised by Dutch Growers using balloons to decorate their entrance. Wanted to walk though today but due to a severe allergy I now can’t enter.
Just want to share to hope someone at Dutch growers might want to protect their community. Most people’s first reaction to latex allergy is severe. Mine was bad and needed Epi to resolve. Being older my reactions are now severe and need immediate response and the last one was a trip to the ER and ICU. Small kids who display a reaction to bananas and kiwi will later develop a latex allergy.

Welcome!
I am beginning, rather continuing a life long journey to support those in need of emotion, mental health and trauma support.
As a teen I tried to listen. (As the child of an alcoholic I figured I had some experience with tough stuff)
As a teacher I listened and used what I had learned about child and teen development! I spoke with my first suicidal student on day three of my teaching career. (I hope I listened well and provided support!)
As my life transitioned from rural to city my opportunities broadened to learn to support those living with Autism as an Autism consultant.
Play and child development and speech development were areas I expanded my experiences.
Then years as an educational consultant which increased my experience with teens with learning issues, suicidal ideation, identity challenges and ADHD. I earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education and School Psychology and gained more experience in the schools!
Becoming a Registered Nurse exploded my experience with people’s mental health issues. I began to describe myself as a trauma nurse. Not trauma as in bleeding out or diseases of the biological self.
Rather a mental health trauma nurse. I am the most unique nurse in Saskatchewan and I feel blessed to have gained so many different experiences.
This last one though had truest broadened my mind!!!
I am now a hypnotherapist!
I am working towards becoming an RTT therapist. Rapid Trauma Therapy gets to the root cause of peoples issues to help them allow their own mind to drive change within themselves in ways Western medications can not achieve.
