Unpopular opinion…
that “good deal” you just scored might just be costing you EVERYTHING

Health Canada has issued multiple jewelry recalls this year alone due to lead and cadmium-including recent recalls on pieces sold online for exceeding safe limits.

And not in random places…
In the same places most of us have shopped at some point. Amazon, SHEIN, fast fashion stores….

it’s not just about tarnishing or turning your skin green…
Certain metals like lead and cadmium-can cause irritation, rashes, and reactions.
And they’re not materials meant to be worn daily or sit on your skin long-term.

With repeated exposure over time, they can build up in the body😬
which makes it worth paying attention to what we’re wearing every day.

Not all metals are created equal and Unfortunately many businesses don’t know what they are reselling. Jewelry businesses have legal guidelines in Canada (especially around gold fill)- Ask the questions, and head to Health Canada website to see if any of your purchases have been recalled.

People say time heals all wounds…
This might be controversial to say but it doesn’t.

Love, loss and grief knows no boundaries, it doesn’t wear a watch- it doesn’t have a timeline, there isn’t going to be an exact moment in time where it automatically gets easier.

You’ll start doing the things again- go back to work, show up for your family, you start to keep life moving.

And then something small happens…

A song, a smell, a whisper of warmth, a butterfly-
And suddenly you’re right back there again, you remember and miss your loved one.
