My intention captured in one candid picture-

I wanted to capture the sun, golden sand between the toes, sun and smile on face, the warmth in the heart that Nicaragua brings. I wanted to turn it into a time capsule that brings me back to that feeling every time I wear it around my neck- then I wanted to share that feeling with you.

That intention became the zodiac Sun necklaces, pieces designed in Nicaragua, warn anytime to be a reminder of the sun, grounding, and personal, like summer held close.

Each one is handmade by me and created to carry your zodiac, your energy, and a quiet reminder of who you are.

There’s something about trying on a new piece and feeling it right away.

What if I told you my world was breaking in these pictures?

You’d never know it by looking.
Each morning, I put on my makeup, my jewelry, and my outfit- trying to exude confidence so I could feel somehow in control of something I couldn’t.
Within hours, the makeup was washed away, the exhaustion would set in, the disbelief and anger was shaking my own foundation.

For nine days, I kept doing it.
Every morning, I’d start again.
I’d break… and then I’d piece myself back together just enough to walk out the door walk to the car, fall the fu*k apart and try again tomorrow.

Showing up with confidence, looking unshakeable, was my way of holding myself together when every day I would break.

Because strength isn’t about being untouched by pain.
It’s about facing it, again and again, and still choosing to believe in light and justice.

The jewelry, outfit and makeup I wore wasn’t just for appearance, it was a reminder.
That even in the hardest moments, I could still choose to stand tall and that I could show up and pretend I wasn’t being broken, that my life wasn’t being shattered. And this is how I’ll do it all over again several months later.

To anyone walking through something hard, I see you. You can be breaking and still show up with grace, you can fall apart and still shine.

When passion and purpose collide-

Monday, we stopped at the Dube Centre in Saskatoon, delivering gifts made possible through YOUR purchases and donations.

Each child received a cozy blanket, socks, soap, lip chap, a journal, a pocket hug, and a hand-painted card filled with words of love and encouragement. The girls got press-on nails, and everyone received hot chocolate, candies, and a few other small treats 🍬all chosen to bring warmth and comfort.

And of course, Sunny Claus came along to help deliver the gifts 🎁 spreading kisses, laughter, and warm stories of the children’s pets at home.

The pocket hug each child received read, “Never underestimate the difference you made and the lives you touched” on one side and the other “a little pocket hug.”

In their cards, I shared what every child needs to know- that they matter, that life will get better, hope, and that they are loved, even by people they’ve never met.

It’s my absolute purpose and joy to connect with these incredible kids, whether we’re making jewelry together or bringing them gifts. Every visit reminds me that this work is about so much more than jewelry or profits it’s about connection, hope, and healing.
