Visit https://sos.crowdchange.ca/2026teamsask to be part of our Draft an Athlete Program, supporting Team Saskatchewan athletes as they prepare for the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games in Medicine Hat.

Attending the Games is a life-changing experience for our athletes — one filled with determination, pride, teamwork, and personal achievement. However, competing at this level comes with significant costs. Through the Draft an Athlete program, you can directly support an athlete’s journey and help ensure they have the opportunity to take the field with confidence.

International Women’s Day 2026 |

At Special Olympics Saskatchewan, we see every day how powerful it is when people give their time, encouragement, and leadership.

When our coaches give their mentorship,
when volunteers give their time,
and when athletes give their courage and determination,

we all gain.

Across Saskatchewan, women and girls in Special Olympics are thriving because a community believes in inclusion, opportunity, and support. From the playing field to leadership roles, their achievements remind us that when women are empowered, everyone rises.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women who strengthen our movement — athletes, coaches, volunteers, families, and allies — who help create a space where everyone belongs.

Together, we can continue to challenge barriers, lift each other up, and Give To Gain a more inclusive future.

📸 Strike the pose and show your support for women and girls in sport and in our communities.

When the air hurts to breathe and the wind cuts like glass, jumping into a tub of icy water sounds crazy. On Saturday morning in Regina, it was an act of love.
