Your body is alive with color, energy, and wisdom. 🌈
In her exercise Feeling My Body with Color, invites us to connect with each energy center: grounding, creativity, vitality, love, voice, wisdom, and spirit.

Take 5–10 minutes to journey through these colors. Pause where your body calls for more attention. Let the breath paint your awareness.

Remember, there’s no “right” way. Just explore, feel, and let your body remind you of its radiant intelligence.

This pose is called Bound Forward Fold (Baddha Uttanasana) or sometimes Shoulder-Binding Forward Bend.
🧘‍♀️ How to Do:
1. Stand with feet hip-width apart.
2. Clasp your hands behind your back, straightening your arms.
3. Inhale and open your chest.
4. Exhale and fold forward from the hips, letting your arms stretch overhead.
5. Bend your knees slightly if needed and rest your head near your legs.
6. Hold for a few breaths, then slowly rise back up.
🌿 Benefits are :
• Stretches shoulders, hamstrings, and spine
• Improves flexibility and posture
• Relieves stress and calms the mind

It asks you to be honest.
To show up as you are, to feel what you feel, and to move from truth rather than expectation.
As teachers, we can help our students remember that yoga isn’t a performance, it’s a practice of presence.

When the Veil Thins

When the veil grows thin and the world grows quiet,
I turn inward —
past the noise, past the masks,
into the soft hum of my own truth.

Here, in the stillness, shadows stir.
They are not monsters,
only the forgotten voices of my heart
asking to be seen, to be held.

I breathe them closer —
every doubt, every ache, every story I’ve hidden
becomes part of my wholeness.

I see now — the dark is not my enemy,
it is my teacher, my mirror,
the night sky where my stars are born.

So I bow to what is leaving,
and bless what remains.

I gather my courage, my softness, my truth —
weaving them into a single light.

As I rise, I carry this flame within me,
a quiet glow that needs no permission to shine.

Tonight, I am both shadow and sunrise,

both mystery and becoming.

I am whole.
I am home.
