This Moon has been a powerful one! ✨🌊

The energies of Cancer + Capricorn dancing together - allowing ourself to feel our emotions and connect to our intuition and what they’re trying to tell us, while feeling a pull to focus on the path ahead.🌕

This along with the intensity of completing a 9 year, and a 9 year cycle.🌀We’re also in the final weeks of the year of shedding - the year of the Snake. 🐍
Anyone else feeling all the feels right now?! 😮‍💨

There is a big energy of review of the last 9 years, and of reflecting on how much growth has happened over those 9 years. Take time to celebrate that, to see how far you’ve come. For many of us, it’s like we’ve lived lifetimes in less than a decade!

Also make space to allow yourself to feel whatever is coming up for you now. There may be a lot of emotion. Let yourself grieve the past versions of you and all the difficult times you went through. Let yourself feel compassion and love for yourself, knowing you did the best you could with what you knew at the time and learned from every experience. Let yourself feel gratitude and pride for your strength, resilience and growth. This is all such an important part of the process of letting go, completion of this cycle and gaining perspective as we begin a new chapter.

The next 9 year cycle begins now, and we step into the energy of the year of the Firse Horse February 17. Get ready for a big year of forward momentum! 🔥

🎄It’s a beautiful time of year for connection and socializing, but this can take a toll on us energetically ✨

This simple practice of bubbling and protecting your energy can be so helpful! So many of us feel and absorb the energies and emotions of those around us, often without realizing ❤️

You can also clear your energy when you’re back in your own space with another simple yet powerful practice:
✨Set the intention to clear anyone else’s energies or emotions that you’ve picked up or absorbed throughout the day.
✨Then have a bath (adding sea salt can make this extra powerful!), shower or use incense, palo santo or selenite to clear your energetic field.
✨You can imagine any heavy energies or energies you’ve picked up that aren’t yours releasing from your body, through your feet into the Earth to be transmuted.

It’s been 11 years since my Dad passed - December 19, 2014. I didn’t expect to feel so emotional about it today, but I’ve been reflecting a lot the last few days on my journey, on my growth, on how much I’ve changed and my life has changed. Part of me really wishes my Dad were physically here to see it all, give me a hug and tell me he’s proud. We didn’t have a super close relationship when he was alive, we’re way closer now. That’s the amazing thing I’ve learned through Mediumship - when our loved ones cross over they can often love, support and connect with us in ways they couldn’t when they were here. I’m always so honoured and grateful to be able to connect people with their loved ones in Spirit and pass on these messages - it is so healing and impactful! The ways my Dad connected with me after he passed was what guided me to reconnect with my capacity to channel and connect with Spirit through Mediumship.

Even though my Dad is no longer here physically, we connect every day. I talk to him, write him letters, talk to my daughter about him, think of him when I do things I know he would’ve loved. He shows me signs all the time that he’s with me. I know how much he’s supported me to heal and break the cycles that have been passed down in our family. I know how much he loves my daughter and is so happy I’m her mom. I’m so grateful that we’ve been able to connect in this way since he passed.

He was also an entrepreneur and followed his passion and path, working in the music and film industries. This has been so inspiring for me in following my path and purpose. I included a picture of part of a post that was shared by one of his friends and colleagues after he passed that so beautifully describes my Dad’s impact. I’m so proud of and inspired by him ❤️

So today I’m spending some time talking to him, writing him a letter, listening to music he loved, having some dark chocolate - his fave! And I’m letting myself feel it all - missing him, wishing he were here, the gratitude for our connection now and all of his love and support I feel every day.
