Today we say goodbye (but not really goodbye) to Renji Joseph as she wraps up her time at Harbour Landing Village.

Since joining in 2018, Renji’s journey—from QLA (now DSW) to Team Lead to Director—has been the definition of growth, leadership, and showing up when it matters. Through it all (including the pandemic), she’s been one of our strongest “One Village, One Team” cultural champions.

Fittingly, with just a few days left, she was recognized at this year’s Golden G.O.A.T.s with the "Legacy Luminary Alumni" Award—well deserved. She also leaves as a 2-time Harbour Landing Village Hall of Fame entrant, recognized in both the “COVID-19 Survivors” and “Class of 2018 Future Leaders (Young Gunz)” categories.

Renji’s impact goes well beyond her role. She’s a very caring mom to Izza and Eugene, who grew up in the Village—through our Childcare Centre and countless visits with our grandpas and grandmas. That’s the Village.

She will be deeply missed by her team, our senior leadership team, and the many residents whose lives she touched every day.

Renji, thank you for everything—your leadership, your care, and your belief in what this place is all about.

Wishing you all the best as you launch your home daycare this June. You will be missed—but always part of the Village.

Sometimes a change of scenery makes all the difference ❤️

Our PCH residents came down to the main floor to enjoy lunch from Roots—and safe to say, they loved it. Along with their three nutritionally balanced meals each day and snacks as needed, residents also have the option to head down and order something they’re craving from our main dining.

Good food, familiar faces, and the freedom to choose—just another way we keep things feeling like home here at Harbour Landing Village.

Roots Kitchen & Bar has been feeding the residents in our building long before we were even called Harbour Landing Village—and last week, we got to celebrate 10 years of that legacy ❤️

And what better way to celebrate than going back to where it all started.

Our residents kicked off the night with a Mexican dinner, then ended it with Mexico Mágico bringing the energy right into our Village. The Mariachi Latino Band once again doing what they do best—getting our residents singing, clapping, and yes… even dancing 💃 (some moves you just don’t lose 😉)

At Harbour Landing Village, moments like these are what it’s all about—bringing people together, creating joy, and celebrating the things that make this place feel like home.

Congratulations to Roots Kitchen & Bar on 10 years of feeding the Village—we’re lucky to be part of the story!🫶

Mismatched socks, big smiles, and even bigger hearts 💛🧦

Today at Harbour Landing Village, our residents, staff, and childcare came together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day in the most meaningful way—by showing up, learning, and celebrating what makes each person unique. From colourful socks to a special book reading in our preschool, it was a day full of connection across every generation in our building.

We’re lucky to be part of a community where diversity isn’t just talked about—it’s lived every day. From little ones in our preschool to our residents, many of us have personal connections to Down syndrome through our families, friendships, and the people we share life with here.

And to one very special little girl in our preschool—our daily reminder of joy, kindness, and the warmest hugs—we are so grateful for the light you bring into our building 💛

Days like today remind us that inclusion, understanding, and kindness go a long way—and that everyone belongs here.

A little luck, a little laughter, and a whole lot of green 🍀

We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day at Harbour Landing Village with bingo, good company, and our green milkshakes — and let’s just say everyone got in on it. Residents, staff… even our childcare kids came up for photos and joined the fun!

Safe to say, no one left without a smile (or a milkshake moustache 💚)

A special visit at Harbour Landing Village this week.

We were honoured to welcome City of Regina Mayor Chad Bachynskii for a meet & greet with one of our residents, former Regina Mayor Larry Schneider, who served the city from 1979 to 1988. The visit was thoughtfully arranged by Larry’s wife, Shirley.

It was a meaningful moment seeing past and present civic leadership come together under one roof — sharing stories, memories, and reflections on Regina through the years. Of course, the visit wouldn’t be complete without a little Harbour Landing Village fun — the Mayor wasn’t allowed to leave until he answered a few of our residents’ brain game questions! 🧠

At Harbour Landing Village, our residents bring with them decades of experiences, history, and connections to the community. Moments like these remind us how closely our village is tied to the story of Regina itself.

Thank you to Mayor Bachynski for stopping by and to Shirley for helping make this visit possible.

Today we celebrate the incredible women who make up the heart of Harbour Landing Village. 💐

With 85–90% of our workforce being women, and a wonderful number of our residents being women as well, our community is truly shaped by their strength, compassion, wisdom, and leadership every single day.

From the care and dedication of our team to the stories, experiences, and friendships shared by our residents — women play such an important role in the life of our village.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the amazing women in our community and beyond. 🤍
