Rider Pride is officially ON at Harbour Landing Village!

We’re kicking off The Grey Cup Festival weekend by sharing some of our favourite staff and resident Saskatchewan Roughriders photos — today, tomorrow, and all the way through Sunday! For the first time in 12 years, our Saskatchewan Roughriders are heading back to the Grey Cup next Sunday to take on the Montreal Alouettes! 🏆

💚🏈 Green & White Day at Harbour Landing Village! 🏈💚

Yesterday, our Village was all decked out in Rider green and white as we joined the rest of Saskatchewan in celebrating Green & White Day — officially proclaimed by the Government of Saskatchewan!

Residents, families, and staff were full of Rider pride and ready to cheer on the Saskatchewan Roughriders for their big home playoff game.

🎃👻 Halloween at Harbour Landing Village 👻🎃

Our Village was buzzing with spooky spirit and playful energy during this year’s Halloween Celebration!

The day kicked off with our Halloween Parade, where the little ones from Childcare and Little Village Preschool made their way through the building — showing off their adorable and creative costumes, and lighting up the halls with pure joy. 🧡

Each department joined in the fun for our Haunted House Challenge, turning ordinary spaces into fright-filled masterpieces. After some bone-chillingly close competition, Group Home took the win for Best Decorated Department! 🕸️✨

We wrapped up the day with a lively Halloween Party featuring themed snacks, music, and our crowd-favourite costume contests.

🪔✨ Diwali Week at Harbour Landing Village ✨🪔

Here at Harbour Landing Village, we take pride in celebrating the many cultures that make our community so vibrant. Embracing diversity isn’t just something we talk about — it’s something we live and share together. 💛

This past week, our Village lit up with the warmth and joy of Diwali — the Festival of Lights. We began the celebrations with henna tattoos and diya painting, giving everyone a chance to express creativity and learn more about this beautiful tradition.

The week wrapped up on Saturday with our annual All Staff Diwali Program, a heartfelt celebration filled with energy and connection. The night was alive with cultural dances, lively games, and sparkling firecrackers that brought smiles to everyone’s faces. We gathered around the table for a warm dinner and ended the evening the best way we know how — with even more dancing and laughter.

Moments like these remind us that our strength lies in the richness of our community — where different cultures come together to create something truly special. ✨

🎀 Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

Our Village came together to wear pink and raise awareness for breast cancer. 💗

To make the day extra special, we served a refreshing pink drink for our residents to enjoy as we gathered for a group photo beside the Fireside Lounge.

A small gesture with a powerful message: we stand together in support and hope. 💪✨
