💊 Most patients don’t realize that heat, light, and humidity can reduce how well medications work. The bathroom is actually one of the worst spots!

The safest place to store medications is:

✅ A cool, dry place away from sunlight and humidity — such as a bedroom drawer or closet shelf, kept out of reach of children and pets.

🚫 Not safe:
• Bathroom cabinet → too humid, heat reduces medication effectiveness.
• Kitchen cupboard near stove/sink → heat and moisture exposure.
• Car → temperature swings can damage meds.

👉 Best practice: Use a lockable drawer/box in a cool, dry room.
