We’re excited to share that we’ve received a TELUS Canadian Community Board grant, funded by the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation 👏

This support will help us subsidize therapy intensives for children, making it more accessible for families in our community.

Intensive therapy allows for higher frequency, repetition, and consistency — all key factors in supporting neurodevelopment, building foundational motor skills, and helping kids gain independence.

Thank you to TELUS for helping us open the door for more families to access the care their children need!

More than just standing 💪🧠

Working in a standing frame without abdominal support adds a whole new level of demand — especially when we layer in movement.

In this exercise:

🔄 Rotational core work – moving weight across the body challenges control through the trunk
⚖️ Balance & postural stability – maintaining upright position without external support
💪 Core engagement – constant activation to stay aligned and controlled
🖐️ Upper body coordination – reaching, transferring, and controlling load
🧠 Body awareness – finding and maintaining midline while moving

Exercises like this help build the strength and control needed for more functional, real-world movements — all starting from a strong, stable base.
