The SOPRANO XL 810 diode treats unwanted hair with quick and safe in-motion bursts involving no downtime. The pigment (melanin) within hair absorbs the laser and converts it into heat. The hair then transmits this heat into the hair follicle which destroys it without damaging the epidermis. Any hair that is in the dormant phase will still grow and that is why a few treatments will be needed to achieve permanent reduction. Hair must be shaved prior to treatment. This revolutionary skin tightening regimen uses advanced radio frequency (RF) technology to treat wrinkles, lax skin, and reduce the appearance of cellulite. This treatment has gained great popularity! Pigmented lesions (darker spots) can be caused by heredity, medication, pregnancy (melasma), or environmental factors such as sun damage. Pulsed light is absorbed by these target areas without damaging healthy skin around it. The light heats up the melanin in the pigmented lesion and causes it to fragment. This treatment requires the use of a device that will gradually heat the treatment area to a desired temperature.
