* Tuesday is Remembrance Day so the centre is closed

🦋 2 years ago today, Renée Ferguson lost her battle to post partum anxiety/depression and died by su***de. What Renée didn’t realize was the profound impact it would have on our community as a whole . That day changed the lives of so many of us in her world as well as our Regina community.

Many of us remember where we were and what we were doing that moment we got the phone call/notified of her passing. The Centre’s vision began that night and within 6 months was open. Renée would have loved the Centre and this is why it was created; to be a safe space for mamas to go while in the thick of parenting. Whether it be for a break or just a a fun place for a play date.

For those of you that knew her, give yourself permission to miss her and be sad today; but also sit with the happy moments you shared, the laughs and the fun.

Be gentle with yourself today 🦋
