The first half of our 12-week Equine Assisted Learning program lays the foundation for personal growth, communication, and teamwork. In Week 1, participants begin their journey by forming new relationships—with both horses and humans. Week 2 introduces the concept of pressure and release, helping participants understand how horses communicate and how to build trust. In Week 3, we explore the importance of teamwork and personal contribution. Week 4 focuses on negotiation, learning to meet challenges without force. Week 5 reinforces the value of common sense and practical decision-making. By Week 6, participants are fine-tuning their awareness through silent communication, recognizing non-verbal cues and body language. These sessions build critical life skills in a powerful, experiential way—with horses as our wise and honest partners. 🐎💬💡

Silent Communication: What Are You Really Saying?

In the workplace—and especially around horses—so much is communicated without a single word. Our posture, facial expressions, tone, and even our breath send constant messages. Horses are masters at reading silent cues. Are we?

This exercise invites you to slow down and tune in. Notice how you use your body and voice. Are you clear? Calm? Confident? Then, observe others—humans and animals alike. What are they telling you without speaking?

Take a moment to reflect:
How do you show up in silence?
What can your non-verbal language teach you about connection, clarity, and safety?
