Caring Hearts

Caring Hearts offers grief, loss, traumatic loss, and trauma support through counselling, support groups, education/training, and grief camps.

We are beside you through the healing journey. Caring Hearts offers counselling and education programs for families as well as agencies to support those struggling to cope with grief and loss. Caring Hearts receives funding from the federal and provincial government to offer culturally appropriate support for families and friends of missing persons and missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. Families and friends do not have to face this difficult situation alone. Caring Hearts also offers education and training about ambiguous loss for groups, individuals and agencies.

Huge thanks to our friends at the Estevan Oilwomen Association for kindly raising $9,000 in support of Carings Hearts Grief Camp 💜 through their golf tournament!

This vital program is the only one of its kind in SK helping young people navigate grief and trauma. It is only made possible because of generous community support.

Family Day & Valentine’s Day can bring a mix of emotions when we miss, or are estranged from loved ones. The Caring Hearts “broken hearts” junk journaling event brought all of life’s beautiful messiness to the table, and provided a safe space for all feelings to coexist. The Sâkêwêwak Artists’ Collective 2026 Storytellers Festival celebrates winter traditions through Indigenous storytelling, art, and community.
