With a long-standing yoga education and a heart for community, I guide meaningful, accessible classes in the little loft that started it all.

The truth is...
In traditional teachings, meditation points towards a final liberation from mental habits that cause us to suffer. But in reality we meditate to experience a little more space, perspective, and ease right here in the middle of daily life.

The truth is...
While many spiritual traditions include meditation, the practice itself can be entirely secular. Methods like breath awareness, body scanning, or Yoga Nidra are non-sectarian, research-supported, and open to everyone.

The truth is...
Restlessness and boredom are part of being human.. They can be invitations to stay a little longer, not signs of failure. Even seasoned meditators meet these obstacles. To stay on the meditation path means to encounter discomforts, aversions and restlessness as normal, temporary, and to be expected, and yet still show up and take your seat.

The truth is...
Everyone's mind wonders. Noticing the wondering is the practice. Each gentle return to the present moment strengthens your capacity to stay.

An Update for Guest Teacher & Special Classes

I want to share a small but important update for guest teacher and special classes at The Yoga Loft.

To continue offering these special experiences and to ensure fairness for everyone involved, all guest teacher and special classes will now require prepayment to reserve a spot.

Here’s how it will work moving forward:
• Prepayment is required to hold your place in the class
• Payment can be made by e-transfer or cash
• If payment is not received, the spot remains open to others
• Refunds will only be given if your spot can be filled
• No refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the class

Because the studio is small and guest teachers are paid regardless of attendance, this helps protect the sustainability of the studio, respects the time and energy of our guest teachers, and allows others the opportunity to attend when classes are full.

I also want to sincerely thank everyone who reached out privately with thoughtful suggestions and support — it truly means a lot

Thank you to those of you who consistently communicate, show up, and respect this space. Your support allows me to continue offering meaningful, high-quality experiences at The Yoga Loft.

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
