Christmas is a season of giving, and our Hamilton Village staff embody that spirit every single day. Through their time, effort, and genuine care, they continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the residents of Hamilton Village. Today, we celebrate and appreciate their hard work and dedication.

🎅 Santa stopped by Hamilton Village spreading holiday cheer to the residents! A big thank you to the wonderful family member who volunteered to be our Santa this year! You truly made the day magical. ❤️✨
And of course, thank you to Mrs. Santa Claus and our beautiful Christmas tree for joining in and making the celebration even more festive! 🎄💕

At Hamilton Village, our volunteers are more than just willing to help, they’re well-prepared. Before they begin their journey with us, we ensure they receive the proper training to help them feel confident and be successful in their roles.

Even though we’re lucky to be near two fire halls in Richmond and New Westminster, we still equip our volunteers with essential fire extinguisher training. This is a knowledge they can use not only here, but also at school or at home.

They also receive wheelchair training to support residents who use mobility devices, as well as food-safe handling training so they understand food safety and the risks while being led and supervised by our team members.

We’re incredibly grateful for our dedicated volunteers and all the heart they bring to our community! 💛👏 THANK YOU HV VOLUNTEERS!

On November 14, 2025, we gathered at Hamilton Village for a beautiful Celebration of Life and it was such a wonderful opportunity for us to honour the natural journey we all take and to reflect on the meaningful moments shared along the way.

What touched us most was the continued connection with the families who joined us and with those who could not be with us but were with us in spirit. Even as loved ones move on to the next chapter, the bonds we’ve built together remain strong and extend far beyond the walls of Hamilton Village.

Thank you to all the families who came and shared this special time with us. Your presence truly made the day meaningful.

Yesterday at Hamilton Village, we celebrated Health Care Aide Week and Diwali together. Just a beautiful blend of appreciation and light. We enjoyed delicious Indian food, stunning henna tattoos, and lively dancing!

A big shoutout to our amazing Health Care Aides. You are the true light that brightens our community every single day. Your compassion, hard work, and dedication shine just like the spirit of Diwali. ❤️

On October 1st, they attended the ceremony at Burnaby Banquet Hall alongside other amazing nominees, sharing inspiring stories of seniors making a difference. Thank you, Donna and Shirley, for your incredible contributions to our community! 💛🎉 🎉

Hamilton Village celebrated Wellness Fair with a cozy Pumpkin Patch theme! 🍂🎃🎃🍂

A big thank you to all our wonderful vendors who joined us: Happy At Home Caregiving Services Ltd. Ears To You,Tochtech,Pain Free Health Clinics,HME,Richmond Public Library Leanne(Dental Hygienist), and Pam (Foot Care Nurse). 💛

The day was made even more festive with delicious seasonal treats! We had pumpkin soup, pumpkin curry, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin muffins, and cupcakes! And of course, the vibe wouldn’t be complete without our lovely and amazing music therapist, Max! 🎶💙🧡🧁☕

This celebration was back-to-back with our exciting Bingo Bonanza! We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jennie, a very generous family member, who donated all of the wonderful prizes Recreation was able to give out. Your kindness made the event extra special for our residents. 💐💖

It’s almost autumn at Hamilton Village! We’ve just harvested our very first batch of pumpkins, planted by our social worker, Andrea, and one of our resident volunteers, Lloyd. Some of these pumpkins will be featured at our upcoming Wellness Fair with a Pumpkin Patch theme, while others will be saved for our Halloween celebrations. A perfect way to welcome the cozy season ahead!🍁✨🎃🍂

On August 19th and 22nd, Hamilton Village residents and families enjoyed some summer fun at McDonald Beach! For some, it was their very first time visiting, while for others it was a wonderful trip down memory lane, reminiscing about the good old days when picnics at the beach were a family tradition. Together, the groups enjoyed watching fishermen at work and boats passing by, making the day even more special. 🚤🥰🍉🍋⛱🏝🌤
