During this pandemic, the employees at MindRight have been working hard in providing counselling services to people throughout the Lower Mainland. We had to adjust and adapt to changing times with telehealth and deal with an increase of clients seeking support. We are proud to be a Finalist for Small Business of the Year from the Richmond Business Excellence Awards. Thank you to our community partners, clients, and staff for everything!

Great to see an actual step in the consolidation of regulation and oversight from our provincial government and regulatory bodies. Our counsellors are all registered with the BCACC or BCCSW to ensure they abide by a Code of Ethics and have professional oversight to ensure no harm comes to any clients.

B.C. is pushing ahead with a major overhaul of its system for regulating health professionals, but there’s still no word on when people like psychotherapists and clinical counsellors might finally be subject to official oversight.

I know it's difficult for people to be or from one another. We want to be outside as much as we want and feel we should be able to do what we want. We want to be able to spend time with our friends and family and reclaim our .

But remember, before this pandemic, we were already engaging in with our tech. Smartphones, video games, social media, etc. have been responsible in decreasing the amount of social connection we have with each other. I'm glad people are upset and wanting face-to-face interaction. This period can be a time of reflection in noting we as people need to do better in engaging in healthy and positive social interaction. No matter how much we evolve as a society and with our technological advances, nothing will compare to face-to-face connection.
