From us here at Lensbox, we are wanting to thank all of those who help contribute to World Sight Day. The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness had a powerful statement for World Sight Day 2021:

"Nearly everyone on the planet will experience an eye health issue in their lifetime and more than a billion people worldwide do not have access to eye care services.

To address the bigger picture at the country and global level, we need to be aware of our own eye health, and so our theme for 2021 is all about .

Lensbox Inc. is an eyecare technology company that is passionate about empowering eyecare practitioners to deliver the same, if not better, in-clinic patient experience in a virtual space. We do this by offering eyecare practitioners a powerful suite of digital tools comprised of industry compliant telehealth software, virtual diagnostic tools, a robust ecommerce engine, and a secure encrypted community platform, all with the aim of delivering the same TLC a patient would receive in-clinic. But that’s not all. Our aim to support eyecare practitioners and their business means our tools address a holistic range of needs: sales, marketing, order and prescription fulfillment, patient engagement, and direct insurance billing to name a few. Established in Canada in 2019, Lensbox has spent its initial years building relationships with innovative, like-minded doctors of optometry keen to disrupt the traditional eyecare model with our telehealth and ecommerce capabilities. We are excited to announce that as of June 2021, we have established US headquarters in sunny Miami, Florida.
