Clearly Holistic Nutrition Colleen is an experienced Registered Holistic Nutritionist with an interest in complex health issues. Colleen Chan, R.H.N.

Graduated with Merit 2014

Colleen is an experienced Registered Holistic Nutritionist with a special interest in complex health conditions. Using her advanced knowledge of nutrition, health and behaviour modification, she works to develop targeted plans for her clients that support the body’s systems to improve overall health – while still remaining manageable to implement. Colleen is a strong believer in the value of personalized nutrition, never using a "one size fits all" approach with her clients because she recognizes that every body is physiologically and biologically distinct. During your first appointment, she will ask a variety of questions specific to the information you provide in order to develop a protocol specifically suited to you. Colleen believes that you hold the key to your own recovery and will empower you to be an active participant in your healing journey, while providing you with guidance, education and support along the way. She has experience supporting clients with challenging conditions such as:
-Osteoporosis, osteopenia
-Blood sugar imbalances
-Chronic fatigue syndrome
-Chronic pain
-Sleep disorders
-Food allergies and reactivity
-Concussions
-Digestive imbalances and dysbiosis

Colleen has worked with clients from all backgrounds and has vast knowledge to support most health journeys. She is also experienced in addressing common dietary and lifestyle concerns, including:
-Stress management
-Improving energy levels
-Implementing healthy eating habits
-Weight loss
-Elevated blood sugar
-High cholesterol
-High blood pressure
-Metabolic syndrome
-Reducing inflammation
-Adrenal fatigue
-Digestive discomfort

As a Holistic Nutritionist, Colleen does not diagnose or treat health conditions, but focuses her practice on supporting areas of the body affected by health conditions while optimizing nutrition. She can also make recommendations to improve your overall health and wellness when there is no official diagnosis.

This is reality, start small today and you'll thank yourself later. You don't have to move mountains to make a change in your health.

You can start by substituting sugar-laden treats with fruit. Try adding more veggies to every meal. Try a smoothie for breakfast. Take a 10-minute walk. Do one push-up. ⁣
Honestly, I hated weight training. It hurt. It wasn’t fun. The gym smelled. I started slowly and now I love it, and the payoff in terms of my strength and well-being makes it fun and easy! ⁣

When you feel less stress and more joy around positive changes, you’ll up-level your biology and reinforce these healthy habits. ⁣
