Many of our goal is to “lose weight and maintain the weight after the diet“ Simply put, to lose WEIGHT, you must create a caloric deficit, to gain WEIGHT, you must create a caloric surplus. It’s the total caloric intake of the day that changes your weight. At the same time, our body’s mechanism isn’t that simple. We have to focus on “metabolism rate”instead of just the calories and numbers on the scale. METABOLISM plays a huge role when it comes to a long lasting lifestyle diet. If you decide to eat less just so you can see some numbers drop on the scale after binge/over eating, you will never going to get out of the rat race. First, educate yourself with the relationship between nutrition, muscle building and metabolism. Then, set a goal - what is your goal? Do you want to be thick? thin? Lean? Definition with some curve? Bulky? Strong? Are you okay with maintaining low intake diet for the rest of your life to keep the look? Or do you want to be able to handle more food even if you have to carry some fat underneath the muscles or build a body that is lean all year long while handling more food? Once your goal is set, now, you need to start your journey with a commitment that is realistic for your lifestyle. After that, it’s all about your action, experiment, observation and patience - it’s a mind game. I’d say this mind game is the hardest one. It’s not going to the gym, nor the meal prepping....it’s the mind you have to keep feeding the right information and positive body image instead of getting emotional. You’d be surprised how many fit people, coaches are still struggling every day too. But what makes it different from us and some others is that we accept what is happening to our one kind of body and make changes accordingly with years of patience and observations. We’ve made this as our lifestyle - so, once you do, the journey becomes just like brushing your teeth everyday.
Educate yourself and learn about your body, you have to love what you do to get to your goals.

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated. Just enjoy the wholesome single ingredients - of course I enjoy fancy cooked meals, but I also enjoy the flavor of single ingredients too.
Less cooking, less dishes, less time and less garbage while getting more benefits of micronutrients (vitamins and minerals)
You can always train your taste buds. When you are so used to eating less flavored foods, you will notice the strong sodium, grease from processed foods significantly when you re-introduce them back to your diet.

You don’t have to give up on any type of foods unless you have medical restrictions, but just try slowly to increase wholesome foods, decrease processed meals. One step at a time.

pre-workout toast

- Sprouted whole grain bread
- Non fat greek yogurt
- Blueberries
- Raspberries
- Pumpkin seeds
- Cinnamon

Super easy no cooking needed!
(Well you have to toast though, you can do it right?🤭)

Fibre, B vitamins, antioxidants, iron, cooper, zinc, magnesium all from the whole grains - what an easy way to get the nutrients you need!
Don’t be afraid to eat carbs. Educate yourself to see what kind of carbs you want to introduce into your diet.
Carbs give you the energy to push harder and go heavier at the gym. Because you have the energy, you can work harder, because you work harder, you can gain the muscles, because you have more muscles, your metabolism rate is higher, because your metabolism rate is higher, you can handle more food without gaining extra fat!

Don’t just look at the surface facts “oh carbs make you fat, retain water...” They are correct in a way, but it’s not the whole facts. Sure if you keep feeding yourself with ice cream, heavy pasta, and pizza that may be right. But when I say “carbs”, I’m talking about the wholesome food veggies, fruits, legume and whole grains.
Even that, if you eat too much, you can gain fat. It’s all about the right amount that is specifically for your body type, activity level and your goals.
Don’t be tricked by the “carbs are bad” myth.

holistic wellness - we all need to be filled in all areas of life.

Physical & Mental Health, Family, Personal Development, Career Development, Finance, Social, Spiritual Health, Entertainment, Contribution, Relationship, Friendship.

They all need to be balanced out to complete “happiness”.
They say only 5 percent of us in the world fit into this category. I always think of life as nutrition and fitness. The area you work on the most always grows the most. It’s great to focus on one thing for a
quicker and bigger achievement, but sometimes step back a bit and re-assess, switch things up. Have goals at each phase & area, don’t eat only chicken and broccoli 24/7, don’t work on arms 24/7. It’s okay to take a rest, it’s okay to enjoy the meals that’s not the “cleanest” here and there. Be mindful and know what you are doing, make adjustments as needed.

I’m aware I tend to focus on particular things a lot. I’m a goal oriented woman and I work VERY hard to get to the goals. But sometimes I realize, I dropped something from my back pack on the way. I’m very lucky to have someone who reminds me of that, and make sure it doesn’t have to be only the way I thought it was to get to the goal.
I’m still learning holistic wellness, and I will keep learning with my entire life.
Thank you for getting a ride with me....😋

Life is fragile. You would think you know that it’s not forever. Yet we still forget with busy days. We all get caught by life and stress ourselves over such little things. I say it because I’m definitely someone who gets affected by stress. I became a health and wellness practitioner to help people who are just like myself. But I’m not going to lie that I’ve over come all that, no, I am struggling and failing all the time. But I still pick myself up and move on. Having people who can coach me, inspire me, having clients who I can coach and inspire are what makes me want to keep on going.
I am a fat loss and weight management specialist. But it’s not only the number on the scale that I want to change - it is the overall total health and wellness, physically, mentally that I want to share with the people in need.
Why do you want to gain/lose weight? Why do you want to change how you look? It may be simply for cosmetic reasons and it’s totally okay, that is a great reason if that takes you to a happier place. Maybe it means the world to you. Me too. When I look good, I feel good. But it’s also important to know that BECAUSE I feel good, I look good. That’s the “mental wellness part that a lot of us forget.” What does “good” mean to you? Gaining might make someone happy, losing might make someone happy. There is no “if you look this way , you are happy - look”. Have goals, and keep on pushing yourself to get there, but don’t forget that you have to enjoy the journey. Day in, day out. Because the many layers of today is the result you will get at the end of the journey = goals. Don’t forget (me too), that life is precious, fragile, so every day, minute and second counts. Don’t forget the reason why you want to get to your health goals. Don’t just do it for the sake of reaching the goals or impressing others, you have to get there and be happy, every single step of the way. So be happy today:)

- thank you for reminding/teaching us the beauty of life. - thank you for the beautiful work.

This year was a year where I definitely experienced more challenges - the last bits of lbs were definitely the hardest and I again experienced the magic of holistic power - my last stubborn weight dropped at higher intake, even lower protein🤭 I focused on my mind and spirit wellness, instead of just the numbers. Our body is all connected, mind/body/spirit - they all need to be set to make your goals happen.

2020 Cutting Series Day45 - 6.6lbs
Sorry guys, it’s been slow to post the updates - it’s because I’ve been plateaued with my progress. I really didn’t want to use the last card to play just yet but I had a feeling that I may need to. I’ve been adding more cardio to help create more deficit, because of my current lifestyle and schedule, as well as my cal/macros. I’ll take my time, observe the body’s responses, and make adjustments. Sometimes it’s not fun not to see the drastic result, but good things/real things take time right. 🙈🙈🙈Despite that though, I’m pretty happy with my current physique - I’m feeling lean without having a feeling of too skinny or chubby on my tummy area. I see more definition on my obliques and back than last year. I do recognize that I still have some fat I’d like to shed around the hip area, and that’s a stage where I have to sacrifice to lose some muscle fullness and curves on other areas🤭
We’ll see how I feel as I go..
