On Purple Day, we stand with everyone living with epilepsy.

For paramedics and dispatchers, seizures are not rare calls — they’re human moments. A child at school. A co-worker at work. A parent at home. Families facing fear and uncertainty in seconds.

Awareness changes outcomes. Calm helps care. Compassion builds trust.

Wear purple. Learn what to do. Talk about it openly.

Because reducing stigma can be just as important as treatment. 💜

Paramedics. Families. Everyone. We need your voices — now. We have submitted a brief to the Standing Committee on Finance in the House of Commons. Every letter of support for the National Paramedic Monument from a Member of Parliament (MP) carries with it a tremendous amount of weight. Deliberations on the new budget are coming in April. This is an urgent request for you to join the CPMF in mobilizing our MPs to support the monument.

We’re asking paramedics — past and present — and their families across Canada to take one simple action:

📩 Send a letter (we provide it) to your Member of Parliament.

We’ll identify your MP and provide their email address — all you have to do is send it.

This is how we secure federal support for the National Paramedic Monument in Ottawa.

MPs listen when their constituents speak — especially when those voices come from those who have served on the front lines and the families who support them.

This is something we need to accomplish — together — right now.

Paramédics. Familles.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from your paramedics and dispatchers 💚

While many are celebrating today, we’re still here — on the road, in dispatch, and ready when you need us.

If you’re heading out, plan a safe ride home, look out for your friends, and don’t hesitate to call if something feels wrong. A quick call early can prevent a much harder night.

Have fun, celebrate responsibly, and take care of each other.
Sláinte — and stay safe.
