UPCOMING CLINIC CONSTRUCTION

We are pleased to announce that we are expanding our clinic space to better serve our growing patient community!

What does this mean for you? This expansion will allow us to increase the availability of nursing and mental health support services for our patients.

Construction is scheduled to begin the week of February 23 and is expected to continue until the end of March. During this time, we will make every effort to minimize any disruption to scheduled appointments, however, you may experience some minor noise or temporary adjustment during your visit.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our space to better serve our patients!

Richmond Medical Clinic will be closed on Monday, February 16 in observance of the Family Day Holiday.

We will re-open for regular business hours on Tuesday, February 17 with phones answered starting at 9:00am.

The LifeLabs on site will also be closed on Monday, February 16, re-opening for regular business hours on Tuesday, February 17.

Saturday, February 14 Urgent Care Clinic
Our urgent care clinic on Saturday, February 14 will run as normal with phones answered starting at 8:00am until 9:20am or until the urgent care clinic fills, whichever comes first.

Carly is here today 10:00am-5:00pm. You can either schedule an appointment ahead of time or walk in every Tuesday (and Wednesday), 3:30pm-5:00pm.

Carly offers FREE, confidential short-term counselling in addition to other supports! You can either schedule an appointment ahead of time or walk in every Tuesday, 3:30pm-5:00pm.

LifeLabs has just advised us they are short staffed and will not be able to provide service at Richmond Medical Clinic today.

FREE MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT now available EVERY TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY!

Meet Carly – our new Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre intake counsellor!

Carly is at Richmond Medical Clinic every TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY 10:00am-5:00pm, offering walk in appointments from 3:30pm-5:00pm.

Carly is a Registered Social Worker with the college of Ontario Social Workers and Social Service Workers. With 15 years of experience as a Case Manager and Transitional Support Worker in the Gender Based Violence and Violence Against Women sector, Carly has supported high-risk clients and their children to achieve safety as well as self-determined goals and needs through advocacy, systems navigation, counselling, crisis intervention, support groups, referrals, legal support, and safety planning. Carly is excited to start as WOCRC’s new Social Prescribing Counsellor, and is looking forward to making a difference in rural communities to strengthen connections between individuals, their community, and the healthcare system.

Carly offers FREE, confidential short-term counselling. You can either schedule an appointment ahead of time or walk in every Tuesday or Wednesday, 3:30pm-5:00pm.

AFTERNOON CLINIC CLOSURE
We will be closing at 12pm today due to a clinic wide event.

We will be answering phones today from 9:00am-11:30am.

Our urgent care clinic will run as usual tomorrow, Saturday, January 10 with phones answered 8:00am-9:20am or until the clinic fills, whichever comes first.

Due to some technical difficulties our phones will be answered 9:00am-11:00am for the remainder of our holiday schedule. This includes December 29, 30 and 31. The clinic will be closed January 1.

Regular business hours resume Friday, January 2 with phones answered 9:00am-11:30am and 1:00pm-2:30pm.
