We have opened our waitlist!

We have been working off the waitlist we opened in May 2025. At this time, the majority of patients we are accepting off this waitlist have already found a physician elsewhere. This is great!! It also means we need to refresh our waitlist so we are able to service individuals who don’t yet have a family doctor.

The waitlist will be opened from Thursday, November 27 until Monday, December 1.

Given the existing physician shortage, we will be prioritizing those who live in Richmond, North Gower, Beckwith and Ashton.

A reminder that completing a wait list application does not guarantee you will be accepted as a patient.

Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre
at Richmond Medical Clinic is CLOSED TODAY

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre will be closed today at their Richmond Medical Clinic location.

If you would like to book an appointment with them for next Tuesday, please give us a call at 613-838-1223 ext. 1.

We expect walk ins for Western Ottawa to resume next Tuesday, December 2.

In partnership with PLEO and Heroes Circle, West Ottawa Community Resource Centre is hosting an ADHD workshop.

This workshop is designed for parents and caregivers to attend together with their children or youth (ages 5–17). Please note that children and youth must be accompanied by an adult, and registration is required.

SENIORS FLU & RSV CLINIC
Tuesday, November 11

This clinic is only bookable online via our website.

Online booking for this clinic opens at 11:00am today.

If you'd like to schedule in please visit our website, linked below, to book your flu and/or RSV shot(s) online.

Please note: only those aged 75+ are eligible to schedule in for the RSV shot in this clinic. If you have ever received an RSV vaccine previously, you are not eligible to receive it again.

FLU SHOT CLINICS!

We are pleased to announce we will be running FOUR FLU SHOT clinics next week. These clinics are only open to active patients of Richmond Medical Clinic. We do not plan to run any other flu shots clinics beyond next week.

All bookings for these clinics will be done online. We will have a special link for flu bookings – it will NOT be done via our usual online booking portal. Our first clinic will be for our Seniors and will run on Tuesday, November 11.

The Seniors clinic will also offer RSV shots for those aged 75+ who have not previously received an RSV vaccine.

UPDATE TO ADMINISTRATION OF IMMUNIZATIONS
EFFECTIVE AS OF DECEMBER 1, 2025

OHIP, while extensive in coverage, doesn’t cover all physician services. This includes the administration of various immunizations that aren’t part of the publicly funded immunization schedule for Ontario.

We’ve been administering these immunizations free of cost to patients. In an effort to stay consistent with pricing and practices across the province, effective December 1, immunizations OUTSIDE of the OHIP schedule will be billed an administration fee of $35.
A list of these immunizations as well as exceptions and other information are available on our website:
