March is Nutrition Month, and small changes to what we eat every day can make a big impact on our overall health. 🌱

This week we’re sharing 5 simple food swaps that can help support energy, digestion, and balanced nutrition.

🍚 Swap white rice for quinoa
Quinoa is a complete protein, meaning it contains all nine essential amino acids. It’s also rich in fiber, minerals, and antioxidants, making it a great nutrient-dense alternative to refined grains.

🍞 Swap white bread for sourdough or sprouted grain bread
Sourdough and sprouted grain breads are often easier to digest and may have a lower glycemic impact than refined white bread. They also contain more nutrients and fiber to help keep you fuller longer.

🥕 Swap chips and dip for veggies and hummus
Crunchy veggies paired with hummus provide fiber, healthy fats, and plant-based protein—making this snack more satisfying and nutritionally balanced than typical processed snack foods.

🥤 Swap sugary drinks for fruit-infused water or kombucha
Many sodas and juices are high in added sugars. Infused water adds natural flavor while helping with hydration, and kombucha can provide beneficial probiotics to support gut health.

🍵 Swap coffee for matcha
Matcha contains caffeine paired with L-theanine, an amino acid that can promote calmer, more sustained energy without the jitters or crash some people experience with coffee.
