This is another common Pilates myth! 👇🏻

“Pilates is the same as yoga.” 😒

The short answer is ‘no.’ Pilates and yoga do compliment each other but they are entirely different.

Whilst the Pilates mat work and yoga both use only your body weight and a mat, the Pilates mat work makes up less than 10% of the entire method! Primarily, we use spring based apparatus in Pilates for resistance. 💪🏻

I had great lessons at Going More Joe this week. How useful to get private lessons regularly no matter your level of experience. Her sharp eyes and great cues will help me work deeper and more efficiently.
