We couldn’t let our kindness journey end without one extra special day! Today, we shared coffee and cookies with the wonderful Ripley-Huron Community Centre Staff as a small thank-you for all they do to support our community. ☕🍪
As we wrap up our RAK campaign for 2025, we’re reminded that kindness truly is contagious. From neighbours and families to community partners and frontline workers, each act—big or small—created ripples of connection, gratitude, and joy.

There were laughs around every corner as gifts were unwrapped, traded, “stolen,” and proudly shown off. From hilarious surprises to unexpectedly awesome finds, the joy was in the fun, the friendships, and the memories we shared together. It wasn’t about the gifts—it was about the laughter, the lighthearted competition, and spending time together making spirits bright.

Each Christmas season we are especially blessed when you share your time and talent by bringing your guitar and singing for our residents — a gift that brings joy, comfort, and so many smiles. This year was even more special as Bill Pike joined in the festive cheer, making the celebration truly unforgettable. We were delighted to have a recent visit from MPP Lisa Thompson’s Office, who generously dropped off personalized decks of cards and Christmas Carol Song Books for our residents. What a thoughtful and meaningful gift!
The song books will add extra joy to our festive celebrations, and the cards will be perfect for our monthly Euchre games—bringing fun, laughter, and friendly competition to the table. 🃏🎶
We are truly grateful for all that Lisa does for our riding, and we are honoured that she thought of us during this special holiday season. Acts of kindness like this remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring community. 💖

We shared a little homemade happiness by dropping off freshly baked gingerbread and chocolate chip cookies to our neighbours. Sometimes, it’s the simplest treats—made with care and shared with love—that bring the biggest smiles.
