Healthier isn't a coin toss, like "heads you're healthy tails you're not". It's a path with a definite start and end. Choosing to be healthier is about all those little decisions you make each day, all day long as you live out that path.

What you put in your body, on your body, and around your body makes a difference. How you move and exercise your body (or not) makes a difference. Even the people you choose to surround yourself with make a difference. And what you prioritize in your life definitely makes a difference.

There will always be things we have no control over, that's the truth. But even how we choose to react to stress and adversity makes a huge difference.

All those choices are opportunities, so we need to choose wisely. Every day won't be perfect, but each day can always be better than yesterday.. if you want it to be.

Choose to be healthier - one day, one decision, one opportunity at a time. Your life is your story. Change the ending.

What's your favourite way to make coffee? Let us hear in the comments below.

Buttered coffee is a great way to kickstart the day! Simply add a tablespoon of butter to your mug with an ounce of espresso or coffee. Whisk together then top up with more coffee.
Bonus: add a cinnamon stick for more flavour/health benefits.

I used to think of fall as the end of summer. I love summer, so this was a sad mindset. In reality, autumn is a time to harvest our blessings and give thanks. A time to look back on our accomplishments, and forward to preparation for a better future.

Autumn and winter can be a time of learning, creating and honing our skills, like an athlete preparing for a great event. With only eight months until spring we better get a move on!

SIMPLIFY

Your mission: Go through your last couple weeks of emails and find at least one thing to unsubscribe from.

ORGANIZE

Your mission: Pick one task to declutter... your pantry, a closet, or that nasty junk drawer... it's amazing how much better decluttering can feel, and it may inspire you to do more of it.

SEEK

Your mission: Pick a book you would like to read. Buy a hardcopy (not an ebook) or borrow it from a library. Keep it where you will see it constantly (like the kitchen counter) and make time to read it at least 10 minutes each day. (leave your phone in another room to minimize distractions).
