We’re excited to announce that starting mid-November, Langdon Medical will be expanding our services to include specialized wound care — right here in the heart of our community.

This new service will be led by Nurse Practitioner Farah Sarif (MN, NP) — a highly skilled clinician with over a decade of experience in acute surgical and burn care, post-operative wound management, and complex dressing treatments.

Our new Wound Care Clinic will provide:
✅ Assessment and treatment of acute and chronic wounds
✅ Post-surgical wound management
✅ Burn, ulcer, and diabetic wound care
✅ Personalized dressing plans and follow-up support
✅ Collaboration with your primary care provider for continuity of care

🚨 Don’t Ignore Re**al Bleeding

Re**al bleeding can be alarming — but it’s also more common than you might think. While it may result from minor causes like hemorrhoids or small fissures, it can also signal more serious conditions such as polyps, inflammatory bowel disease, or even colorectal cancer.

🩸 Possible causes include:
• Hemorrhoids (swollen veins in the re**um)
• A**l fissures (small tears)
• Infections or inflammation
• Polyps or colorectal cancer
• Diverticulosis or ulcerative colitis

⚠️ When to seek medical care:
• Bleeding that is heavy or recurring
• Accompanied by pain, weight loss, or fatigue
• Dark, tarry, or mixed-in blood with stool
• Family history of colorectal cancer
