We aren’t meant to be the best everyday. We are all human after all. Some days we are going to waver. Some days are going to be easy. Some days are going to be hard. Some days we are just going to crush it!

Make the most of each day. It’s easy to always find the negative, it’s WAY harder to find the positives.

Here’s a way back for you 🔙

When I decided to play hockey I was one of very few girls on the ice in my hometown. I always had to work hard and play hard to show that I could and would keep up with the boys. It wasn’t long after this picture that our hometown got a girls team and I made the switch. As the years went on, women’s hockey grew. I look back now and think about how grateful I am to be part of that world. Hockey was such a gateway to all the opportunities I have had in life! From meeting some of my closest friends, a scholarship to play at the collegiate level to instilling in me a sense of pride is what I can accomplish. I will forever be grateful to this sport and to all the women who came before me to make it possible for me to continue to play!

Happy National Girls and Women in Sports Day ladies! Keep pursuing those goals and kick breaking those barriers everyday 💪🏼

Don’t let anything stop you. You are ready and capable of getting what you want in life. Sometimes our thoughts get in the way, but when we take a minute to reflect we can see what is possible.

🧊Freeze the day!🧊

This was a cold filled day but I am grateful I finally got to test this out! A chilly 3 minutes in a -200F freezer was a fun way to try something new and get in some cold exposure 🥶
