Farewell to my father

When I look at you, dear papa…
My eyes do brim with tears, for I know that, despite the distance, which now lies, harshly between us,

That our love and adoration for one another, is both deep and everlasting.

I have watched you throughout my life ,
and have ever longed to linger near your side.

For you have supplied such constant, encouragement and faith in the seeds of my grandest potential

And I, dear, papa
have revelled in the quiet, steady companionship, that we have shared

Thank you for making a difference in my life.

I know it's been ages since I've posted. I know that others are feeling the effects of the Pandemic too. It's a time where we have limited tolerance - and we miss so many things that we took for granted before our world changed. I'm sending appreciation to my children for their support. I'm sending hope and resilience to those that need it. And I'm asking for help too from my own Angels. To remind me that "this too will pass".
