With the latest lockdown I know there is a lot of uncertainty and frustration.

Chiropractic is a regulated service by Alberta health and will continue to be OPEN. We are still following strict covid procedures to ensure the safety of ourselves as well as our patients. Heavy sanitation as well as full Ppe are examples of the many procedures that are in place. All of our sanitizers as well as Ppe meet the Alberta health guidelines.

To all of our patients, stay safe and as per Dr. Hinshaw, do not neglect your health.

As per Alberta Health and Alberta Alberta Chiropractic College, we are Open and accepting patients ! Thank you so much to the patients who have reached out and thank you for understanding that we had to close through this extraordinary time. We are back to help you with your health needs. Call us to book your appointment .

We all must remember that we are still in pandemic. There have been very strict guidelines that have been set out by both Alberta health and our College. The number one concern is the safety of patients, staff and doctors. Patients will be screened on both the phone and when they enter the clinic. Patients will also be asked to wash their hands immediately once they get into the clinic. Doctors and staff are required to wear masks. Disinfecting of each room will happen after each patient. The waiting room will allow for proper social distancing. Bathrooms and high touch items (point of sale machines) will be cleaned after every use.

To our patients,

We have had many questions about upcoming scheduled appointments. All scheduled Chiropractic appointments have been canceled at Sierra Chiropractic at this time. Our clinic is closed.

We will contact each one of you and will reschedule you an appointment when Alberta Health Services and the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors allow us to re-open to regular business hours. There is no need to call the office to cancel appointments as they have already been canceled for you.

We want you and your family to know that we are here for you in the case of a Chiropractic emergency and or urgent care. If you have a Chiropractic emergency or need urgent care please call or text or email the doctor you were seeing and we can screen to see if you are a candidate to be seen. There is no charge for this call.

To our patients,

We at Sierra Wellness Center are aware of and concerned about the world crisis affecting our country, province and city. This situation is rapidly evolving and decisions will continue to be made as information comes in.

The safety and well being of our patients and practitioners is our highest priority. We plan to continue operating as usual at this time, maintaining a high level of cleanliness, and making every effort to offer a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.

We have increased cleaning and disinfecting procedures. Practitioners will continue with hand washing and/or sanitizing procedures, including between patients and with charting, handling money and use of computers. Magazines, brochures, water jugs and candy have been removed, and all high touch areas (counters, door handles, etc) will be disinfected regularly. Any staff members with signs of illness will be asked to stay, or sent home.

Please help limit the spread of covid 19

If you or someone you are in close contact with is feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of dry cough, body aches and/or fever, please call us to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

If you have recently travelled, we also ask that you please wait 2-3 weeks before coming in for an appointment.

Sierra Chiropractic will be closed Monday Oct 10 for Thanksgiving with regular business hours resuming Oct 11.

Sierra Chiropractic will be closed from March 25-28 for the Easter long weekend. We will reopen March 29 with regular business hours.

Sierra Chiropractic will be open from 10am-2pm New Years Eve. We will be closed Jan 1st and resume regular business hours Jan 4.
