We hope you all are staying safe and cool during this historic heatwave! Stay well hydrated and monitor yourself and loved ones for signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

The Province has announced a lifting of most of the COVID restrictions as of July 1, 2021, however our Massage Therapy governing associations have mandated that the current protocols will remain in place for massage until at least July 10, 2021. This means:

*Both your therapist and you must be masked during your session.
*Please continue to complete the COVID pre-screening prior to your appointment
*Be assured that all stringent cleaning protocols in the clinic will remain indefinitely.

We know that this has been a long period of rules and accommodations, but we ask for your continued patience and understanding as our Associations work with the necessary Provincial Officials to determine when the above items will change. We so appreciate your support!

Hey everyone!

With the end of the school year coming closer, it means two things: Long sunny days and Long sunny days with my kids at home!

This means that my hours will look different over the summer (less daytime availabilities unfortunately). However I do plan to trial some new daytime slots to prepare for the fall where I plan to open up more times as my youngest heads to grade 1 (wait, what??)

I will also do my best to try and open up some of the regular morning slots when I can, but it may be more last minute and will depend on my childcare options.

Keep an eye on the schedule and if there is nothing there that fits your schedule send me a message and lets work together to try and find a time that does work for you.

We have MOVED!!

The clinic has moved from the NABI location to B101, 14, Mission Ave - just up the road towards the trail!

We were busy this weekend painting and moving and are almost ready to welcome you back to the clinic!

All appointments going forward will be at our beautiful new location.

Later this week I’ll post a virtual tour of our new building, where to find us, where to park, etc.

Today was the last day operating out of the NABI location! The clinic will be closed for the next week while we work hard to move in to our beautiful new space at the Riverside Professional Center!

I’m so excited for the this view!! I’ll be posting updates in the next few days about how to find us for your next appointment!

The Province of Alberta announced new restrictions today in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. This is a significant change and I recognize how impactful these updates are on our community. I myself have 2 young kids moving to at home learning this Friday and can appreciate the juggling that is occuring in many homes right now.

The silver lining that I can share with you that Massage Therapy Services remain open and accessible to you on a by appointment basis. No changes are required for clients who have appointments booked for the next 3 weeks. If you find your situation has changed and need to reschedule your appointment please reach out and there will be no cancellation penalties. I just want you all to do what's best for your yourself and your families.

While grateful to be permitted to remain open I also have a profound feeling of sadness. In addition to those whose employment status is affected, I also have friends and colleagues whose businesses are not as fortunate as mine and will have to close or dramatically reduce their capacity. I recognize that this is incredibly difficult for many small business owners and their staff members. Please consider supporting small business when you can, especially with Mother's day coming up this weekend- this is a a great time purchase a gift certificate, sign up for an online fitness class or order take out from your favorite local restaurant. These businesses need our support more than ever!

Thank you again for all of your support. In these challenging times our gratitude for you runs deep.

With that being said these restrictions can take a toll on our mental health - please be sure to reach out and talk to a trusted person if you are having a hard time. Thank you everyone for all of support this past week! I am truly moved by the outpouring of support by way of messages, texts and survey replies in response to the clinic relocation. I'm so so grateful to have THE best clients!

I have officially signed a new lease and the clinic will be moving at the end of May! All May appointments will be kept at the current NABI location. The clinic will close May 21 and will re-open in our new location June 1st!

Speaking of our new location, I'm excited to share that we are moving to the Riverside Professional Building just up the road from NABI at 14 Mission Ave! I have leased a beautiful basement walkout office that looks onto the walking path beside the Sturgeon River. I'm confident that this new space will provide the same comfort and quality of treatment you've come to expect from us!

I will send out a reminder of the move later this month with all the necessary details of how to find me and Albertina in this new building.

While change can feel very uncomfortable I've come to realize that it doesn't mean its a bad thing. I'm embracing this new challenge as another forward stepping stone on my path of continuing to build a safe and client centered practice for you. :)
