A bit late but we spent a few days in the island with our beloved former RMT Tara. We had the most perfect, relaxing time wandering cute used book stores, the beach, and hanging in the pool. We got to take Tara for lunch which was a lovely little bonus bride time! We all agreed that it was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings! Congratulations Tara and Nathan! We love you and we’re so happy to get to spend some time with you in your new home! What a great excuse to spend some time with part of our team. I know we probably say this too much, but we’re are so lucky to work with such amazing humans.

We had a bit of a Christmas party this year. It was an absolute blast teaming up against each other and running around like kids for the night. We might be a little competitive 😉 Thanks to for an awesome laser tag experience! Capture the flag was my favourite! We got gussied up and went for dinner after but of course, we forgot to take pictures of us actually looking nice. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Allow us to be the first to congratulate Dr. Sam Mullin on passing all her board exams and earning her chiropractic license! Dr. Sam spend her summer with us as an intern so she should look pretty familiar by now! We are so excited she decided to stay with us and join our team as a full chiropractor. She has completed both Craniosacral courses and has taking some prenatal adjusting classes since graduating. With her time following Dr. Shandi and Dr. Jess, she is ready to get to work in these special populations as well as helping the whole family. Dr. Sam is from Spruce Grove, where she is one of 6 kids! She is an avid reader and a very proud aunty. She completed her chiropractic grad school at Dr. Shandi’s Alma mater, University of Westerns States, in Portland, Oregon. She’ll be hanging out at the front desk here and there as her practice starts growing so make sure you say hi and wish her congrats on her shiny new degree!

Meet Dr. Elise Brouwer, a family chiropractor from Kamloops. Originally from Devon, she and her husband (also a chiropractor) just returned to Alberta to raise their baby girl near family. She has her Webster and Growco training, pediatric intraoral palate specific technique, as well as many other courses. We are thrilled to have her experience and passion for prenatal and pediatric patients join our team.

We are growing! Two new chiropractors have joined our team this fall. With our two new massage therapists starting back in the summer, we have a lot of new faces. So we took a minute (or 45) during our last staff meeting to update our group photo. For the first time in years, we actually have availability to fit new patients in quickly in during this busy Christmas season!! Dr. Elise and Dr. Sam are excellent and we can’t wait for you to meet them! Stay tuned for staff introductions.

Happy Halloween!

Today marks a very sad day for us. We are officially saying goodbye to Tara. She leaves for Vancouver island soon. We’ve all been holding back tears (not successfully for some of us) for weeks. Tara is the first contractor we hired. In fact we interviewed and hired her the very day we got our business license. To say she is leaving a big hole is an understatement. Please enjoy our little stroll down memory lane. Last month we surprised Tara with a pottery night at and dinner on whyte after. Tara and Jess being all matchy matchy Tara being the best sport at book club. Years of Christmas parties and decorating. Tara always helping behind the scenes. Getting all the clinic baby snugs. Various team events. Sublime health at our first speaking event for new mamas. Baby Tara. Don’t be a stranger. We love you. Our kids love you. Things will not be the same without you. Nathan is so very lucky.

That’s right! We’ve finally found two amazing therapists to join our team. Teri Dawson started with us last month and so far we are in love! She also does cupping and hot stones-including jade rollers! Come on in for massage! We have spots available for the first time in forever!

Welcome to Rana Abdelkarim RMT! We are thrilled to add her to our team here in St. Albert. Rana comes to us with many years of massage experience. Her understanding of anatomy is so thorough and you can feel her skill coming from her background as a registered nurse. She also has her certification in cupping!
