A Root Canal may sound intimidating, but it’s a safe and effective way to treat a deeply infected tooth and prevent serious complications.
At Uptown Dentistry, we’ll start with an exam and X-ray to pinpoint the problem. If a root canal is needed, we’ll numb the area, remove the infected pulp, and fill the space to protect it from future infection. In most cases, we’ll restore the tooth with a crown or filling so it looks and functions just like it should.
You may feel a little tender afterward, but it’s usually short-lived — and far better than living with tooth pain or risking tooth loss.
