Gallbladder is an important organ and a very big part of the liver and lymphatic system. The gallbladder is key in digestive processes and building immunity. The emotional connection with gallbladder is feeling anger, holding grudges, feeling stuck. Having it removed does not address the emotional aspect. All organs and glands have many aspects besides the physical. It’s too bad this is the only aspect that is considered. Surgery is the only option when issues surface. Healing not treating is the best option.

Did you know this?? 😳.

Gallbladder for the haves and the have nots

My friend Amber was here recently and I shared how grateful I was for this info -

She’s a researcher - with a legal background - and I am a grateful recipient of so much of what’s she’s learned.

She wrote this about her husbands gall bladder journey.

👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

My first gut reaction was huge resistance “They ain’t taking out his body parts! God created us with those body parts and I’m sure they’re important for a reason”

Every medical professional and every “mainstream” medical website assured me that it’s perfectly fine and no, you do not need your gallbladder.

So we decided to look into it deeper before making a decision.

I found out that gallbladder removal is one of the most common procedures in the United States, with more than 1.2 million cholecystectomies done each year.

If you’re having pain or discomfort… out it goes.

That’s the protocol.

They can do it laparoscopically thru a tiny hole minimally invasive if you schedule it, or if you’re unlucky enough to go to the ER in acute attack, depending who is on duty, they might split you wide open with a major/risky surgery.

If you Google it you find things like “you can live completely normal life after gallbladder removal, and there aren’t usually any long-term effects”

They all say you just don’t need this pesky gallbladder BUT that just doesn’t sit right with me.

All the medical professionals and articles warn you about waiting to treat the gallbladder. It’s dangerous to wait. It could cause MEGA PROBLEMS, even life threatening.

But the keyword is “TREAT”. What they mean by "treat" is remove it now. Do not wait. 😳

Of course I want to treat it. But your ONLY option of treatment is REMOVAL? That still doesn’t seem right to me.

So I decided to find out what exactly does the gallbladder do? Maybe I can be convinced he doesnt really need it?

I start learning that the gallbladder is really a storage area. It stores bile your liver creates and releases it when needed to properly digest food, especially fats, and also to carry toxins out of your body.

So I’m like ok, so if we take away the storage area, will my body still be able to get the bile to digest and remove toxins? Or like where the heck will the bile go now if it automatically always goes there to be held for future use?

So I find out when you remove the gallbladder, the bile just drips constantly into the intestines, causing constant diarrhea which creates malnutrition and/or electrolyte imbalances, and other digestive dysfunction.

Another problem after removal is that what drips out from the liver is not enough bile to digest a fatty meal. Thats when you need your reservoir of bile (gallbladder) to release extra bile.

This means that when you eat fat the body can't digest the fat properly. Not digesting fat well means you will not be able to digest essential fatty acids, including omega 3 and omega 6 fats.

It also means you'll have a hard time absorbing fat soluble vitamins such as vitamins D, E, A and K.

What the heck? This sounds like it’s a pretty vital organ to me so far.

THEN I learn that over 50% of people who have their gallbladders removed STILL HAVE THE SAME PAIN after it’s removed, and some have worse pain.

So why the heck take it out? The whole reason they say they are removing it is “because of pain”…

“ If you report consistent pain, we take it out” that’s the protocol. But now I learn it won’t even take away the pain 🤦🏼‍♀️

This is getting more ridiculous by the day…
So why do people really having pain?
What is causing the pain?
What makes the gallbladder get sludge?
What makes it get stones?
Will those things be fixed simply by removing the gallbladder?
Will anything be fixed by removing it?
The truth is — N O

Removing the gallbladder does not address the underlying metabolic abnormalities and dysfunction that causes a person to develop the sludge or the stones in the first place.

And I can see that removing it will cause a cascading effect of more issues and digestive dysfunction for the rest of his life that may or may not heal him or relieve the pain.

Ok so by now I’m convinced I DONT want him to remove this thing. It’s pretty necessary even though they say it isn’t.

So I started digging into WHY do you have sludge?
WHY do people get stones?
What caused it?
HOW can you heal it?
Well I learned that the key to healing your gallbladder lies with fixing your liver, digestive system, as well as overcoming nutritional deficiencies.

Your gallbladder and your liver and digestive system are very very very much connected. And poor habits, diet and lifestyle before the wellness company meant he probably already had fatty liver and it was diseased and not performing optimally. He always had digestive issues.

So we knew I need to fix ALL OF IT because it all works together.

Sludge is bile that’s too thick, concentrated and gunky. It’s supposed to be liquidy.

It can either be that your liver is PRODUCING bad quality bile, or that it’s TURNING into bad quality in your gallbladder because it’s stagnant and not squirting out so well and staying in there getting more concentrated.

If the bile stays thick and sludgy for too long, it’s going to continue having a hard time squirting out, getting more concentrated, and then cholesterol can no longer dissolve in the bile, if anymore cholesterol is added, it’s going to start forming a solid… Which is the stones.

So I’m like ok, dang, so it’s not the gallbladder that’s to blame for any of this… it’s just the container.

Changing the diet, taking clinically proven vitamins that are bio available, taking digestive enzymes, proper fiber, and a healing supplement for gallbladder/bile support under the care of a holistic doctor allowed him to keep his gallbladder.

It's been 5 years since we were told he needed his gallbladder out.

If it's too late for you and they already convinced you that you don't need a whole organ, there are things you should be taking and eating every single day to prevent long term side effects on other organs and your health.

And they are serious.
And to sum it up...
Alternative medicine is real medicine.

Here is my latest articles on the miasm seasons.

Medorrhinum (Sycosis): Early Spring

The fifth of 8 season seasonal predispositions occurs from March 15th through April. It’s essence is akin to spring fever, detoxification, extreme emotions, and unleashed creativity. The primary physical focus is on the liver, kidneys, and heart, but all organs and glands can be effected. The physiological functions tend to centre around hormones, which include glandular functions, cellular imbalances and circadian cycles. The liver is the primary detoxifer of toxins, via the lympathic system, and the kidneys cleanse the blood, in conjunction with a circulatory relationship with the heart.

Emotionally, extreme emotions surface, often intense anger and rage, sadness and jealousy; a feeling of being pulled by two wills. Allopathic or convential medical practices provide common diagnoses such as: Bipolar or Manic Depression, Dissociative disorders such as: Borderline Personality Disorder, and Chronic Depression are common under this miasm predisposition and flare ups during this time of the year are common. The emotions carry with them a strong plarity of intention, or a complete shut down. It can bring forth deepened states of suicidal tendencies, or strong will to succeed no matter the cost. There is a strong drive for control, to be in the “driver’s seat” of life; to take the wheel and move forward, sometimes fast and impulsively, even uncontrollabley; while other times of a lesser pace. There is a need to give in and immerse oneself in taboo dilemmas of choice. The emotions can be quite psychotic in nature in its extreme expression to very subdued and melancholic behaviour on the other extreme. Wild thoughts are common, big ideas and grand gestures of will are often exuded. There is a strong desire to try new things, start new projects, to be outside, come out of hibernation, out of the quiet; to live life to its brighteest and fullest. This predispositon tends to create motivation of movement, mobility, to start something new that coincides with the spring energy of growth. There is also a common need to be controlling, overprotective, deceptive, blaming others and to feel a deep sense of shame, matched with deep love, passion, and fortitude.

Physically, there is a strong desire for mobility and movement, not being able to sit idle, to be motivated and ambitious for the outdoors. The body craves fresh air, exercise or activity, along with sunshine, and getting in touch with nature. The air is cool, but refreshing and welcoming. The desire to wear lighter clothing, expose our flesh to sunshine and to breathe in fresh air. A preference for the night hours versus daylight is also prevelant, but can mess with the circadian cycle of getting proper restful sleep.

Common physical ailments this time of year stems from the body’s need for detox from the long cold months, when mobility was very little, not as much activity, leaving the body to store toxins in the lymphatic system. These ailments include: sinusitis, diarrhea, digestive upset, spring colds that coincide with adenoviruses, asthma, allergies, ulcers, swollen ankles, urinary tract infections, and cold sores, various herpes eruptions in teh body includng the eyes. Several skin ailments are also associated with this miasm expressing itself in such ways as: warts, skin tags, cysts, skin overgrowths, bone overgrowths (bunions, bone spurs,) and the development of toxic tumours or growths, which the body produces as a way of forming toxic protection. Due to the body’s need to purge this toxic load, body odours are prevelant, especially foul and fishy smelling odours. Stagnant blood flow, can lead to hemorrhoids, fissures, artery blockages (angina), and thrombosis (blood clotting) or eruptions (embolism) that can lead to heart attacks, strokes, anneurysm, or heart arrhythmias in some cases. Headaches can be common due to extreme fluxations occurring within the body from hormonal imbalances, to temperature changes, nutrition depletion or deficiencies, dehydration, and the toxic load build up in the liver, spleen and kidneys. Digestively, there can be a lot of upset as the body attempts to detox and purge, which can bring about diarrhea, gas, bloating, and stomach colic. Sensitivity to certain foods can play a role in this upset as the body prefers specific dense nutrients; juicing, smoothies, protein beverages can be of benefit to keep the body supported and balanced.

The biggest influence is its relationship with hormonal imbalances, which occur as a result of this predisposition. It is associated with endocrine cycles related to pituitary function and its connection to all the glands and hormones, as the pituitary is the known as the mastergland. It’s influence carries a strong influence with this miasm predisposition, especially with regard to growth development in many aspects including the female reproductive cycles and phases of peri-menopause and menopause. The Pituitary gland is the heirarchy of regulation and balancing all metabolic and glandular functions. It communiciates to all glands in their production of certain hormones to enable their functional rhythms. It regulates the Thyroid Stimulating Hormone-TSH, to regulate T3 and T4 for metabolic function; Luteinising Hormones-LH to regulate ovulation and menstrual cycles; Follicle Stimulating Hormone-FSH in order to stimulate growth of ovaries for egg development, creating estrogen, and the growth of te**es to produce stertoli cells to create s***m production; Prolaction-PRL for milk production during pregnancy, Growth Hormone-GH for height development during childhood, and muscle and bone develpment throughout our entire life, Melantocyte Stimulating Hormones-MSH, to stimulate skin pigmentation by producing melanin, and to repair DNA, along with producing Melatonin via the Pineal Gland, which is primarily responsible for circadian rhythm or sleep cycles, and lastly Adrenal Gland-ACTH, Adrenocorticotropin Hormone, which is responsible for producing Cortisol, the fight/flight response, or stress hormones, via the HPA-Hypothalamic Pituitary Adrenal Axis.
Due to fluxating rhythms, the imblance of hormones comes from its connection of regulation. A strong influence as to why the body needs and desires the dense nutrients of amino acids, minerals and vitamins to keep cycles balanced. This miasm is the primary disposition for such regulation, which is associated with the absorption of nutrients, if nutrients are not absorbed efficiently by the organs, the glands lose their ability to produce these hormones, creating a plethora of complexities.

Appetite begins to increase, due to its relationship with the hypothalamus which is a part of the brain that regulates hunger, body temperature, heart rate, and sleeping/waking cycles. The desire for dense nutrient foods such as meat proteins, fats, citrus, and salty foods to help restore balance, and homeostasis occurs. There is also a desire for cravings of indulgence in sweets, alcohol, and sugar foods and beverages; stimulants such as: caffeine, to***co, ephedra (epinephrine based) and other drugs such as: co***ne and amphetamines are common as a means to boost energy, spirits, and motivation in toxic way. The energy of the season is fast paced, impatient and self gratifying.

The Ego function with this miasm expresses itself as creativity, s*xuality, and ambition. A production of growth and development. There is a strong desire to plant new seeds, to engage in projects, to take the reflection of ideas from the previous season (Ringworm) and begin a plan of action. The Ego needs movement, and power of will for proper digestion. There is a strong need, a desire to breakout into free spirited energy. It is a time to jump in with both feet and engage the soul/spiritual body into mobility, connectivity and passion, to ignite the fire within. There is an abundance of raw s*xual energy. Building relationships and connections in every aspect of being.

My favourite food at this time of year is fresh fruit, especially tropical fruit, as it is in harvest season at this time of year, and easy meals like a good burger or a meat protein, with a side garden or caesar salad. For the non meat eaters, dark green veggies, root veggies such as: beets, sweet potatoes, garlic, onions, radishes, carrots, parsnips, turnip are excellent in supporting the liver, gallbladder, and hormone function. Best beverages are green juicing recipes and cranberry jucing for detox. My favourite herbal tea for this time of year is redclover, red raspberry, andliquorice root, while green tea is my prefereance as a non toxic caffeinated option.

Medorrhinum Part II: Expressions and Nature in Animals

Medorrhinum season occurs from the middle of March (15th) through all of April. At this time of year, nature is slowly awaking from a long, dark, cold winter. Daylight starts to build itself, peaking out from the absence its shown in the previous miasm season. The ground begins to thaw, ice begins to melt, and animals start to come out of hibernation.

Animals will show some similaries to humans especially with regards to physical, and physiological functions regarding hormone cycles and appetite. There is a strong desire to breathe in fresh air, to be outside, touch the ground beneath their paws (fur friends,) graze the fields, and begin hunting for those living in the wild. Transformation of camouflage begins again, changing the fur and skin to reflect nature’s habitat.

Plant life starts to bud, giving way to dense nutrients in its shoots, providing shelters for small animals, and food sources for a variety of smaller game and to brighten the colour of nature from a drab brown, death looking state, to vibrancy of green and yellow shades, the colours of the solar plexus and heart chakras, that express the life force within. Nature awakens with the power of the sunlight, fresh warmer air, and milder temperatures.

It is a time of year for heat cycles in animals with a strong desire for hunger and s*x to produce and create life. A primal instinctual drive for sustaining species life. Ravenous hunger ensues to replenish the starvation of the winter in the wild, for domesticated animals it can be the lack of appetite due to sustenance of food endured through the winter months, or to eat ravenously and more often to replenish energy reserves from excessive activity. There is a drive to play and socialize, to eat, sleep, and digest the nourishment received.

Skin ailments can occur as the body begins its detox cycles as well. Purging outward to allow healing and regeneration and rejuvenation of organ, glandular and cellular function. Liver, kidneys and heart are also the primary organs in this miasm predisposition as it is for humans. This can result in digestive upsets, vomiting, diarrhea, and urinary tract issues, and ear issues. Providing dense species appropriate nutrients high in minerals, heatlhy fats and proteins can defeat these predisposed ailments. It is the time of year for shedding their winter fur and skin for a lighter coat, for frequent urination and bowel movements and for hormonal cycles to trigger glandular and metabolic functions more readily and more intensely.

Emotionally, animals can be unpredictable in a similar way to their human counterparts. Part of this unpredictability is the strong desire to procreate, to be dominant in their need to be in control (ego forces), and also due to ravenous hunger. Animals tend to have expressive features of excitement, anger, and anxiety that can contribute to their behaviour. Allowing them ample time to move, play, eat healthy, socialize, and connect with nature will help to ground their behaviour and prevent unpredictable temperaments.

Domesticated animals, especially dogs, and to some degree cats, need exercise, activity, fresh air, and bonding time with both human and animal counterparts. Dogs want to be walked, running around, or playing outside for longer periods, cats love being outside too, they need this as part of their make up, to have their paws touching the earth. They are the guardians of the home. Providing cats a healthy option of walking with a harness and leash, or putting them in a catio (outside enclosed den) to be able to take in the sunshine, fresh air and smells of nature while protecting them is ideal. It stimulates their senses and hormones. Barn animals want to roam the pastures, grazing, socializing, taking in the smells, and sunshine, and running in the fields with elation and magnificent power of mobililty and stride. Animals in the wild will hunt, scavenge, source out new vegetation or fish for nutrients in the thawed waters, and find habitats for birthing, protection and safe sleep places.

This is the cyclical phase of energy, resources, and growth in earth’s developmental stages. The energy is that of expansion rather than contraction, for radial rather than spherical, as other species begin migration patterns back to the areas they vacated in the fall time (Psorinum and Malaria miasms) that coincide with natures seasonal cycles.

🤏 If your groomer is routinely expressing your dog’s a**l glands, it could be doing more harm than good.

In healthy dogs, these glands should empty naturally during bowel movements💩—not by force. Repeated squeezing can traumatize the delicate ducts, which can lead to chronic inflammation, scar tissue that can affect the gland’s proper function, and long-term damage.

Even worse, every manual expression carries the risk of introducing bacteria🦠 and triggering infection. Unless there’s a medical reason, it’s best to leave healthy glands alone.

But here’s the thing: when those glands don’t empty naturally - and you start noticing that fishy odor🤢 - it’s usually a sign there’s a deeper issue.

Without enough pressure during a bowel movement, those glands don’t empty like they’re supposed to — and that leads to inflammation, impactions, and in some cases, full-on infections.

What’s causing those mushy poops in the first place? Often, it’s a mix of:
🥦 Low-fiber diets
🍗 Food sensitivities (like chicken, beef, or dairy)
🦠 Gut microbiome imbalance
🤏 Routine expression at the groomer

If your dog is struggling with soft stool:Add a small dose of slippery elm or psyllium husk to your dog’s meals — it can help bulk up stool and encourage the glands to empty on their own.

🥣 Start with ¼ tsp for small dogs and increase up to 1 tsp for large breeds, based on size. Always introduce slowly, and always ensure plenty of hydration!💧
