A Calm place
A coping skill to help calm and regulate is to image yourself in a calm place. It can be a real or imagined.
Imagine what you can see, hear, touch and smell there. Practice going to your calm place frequently and it will be easier to use when you need it. A good time to practice is while you are falling asleep. Calm Tides counselling is here to help if you are struggling, reach out to learn more.
