I adapt both modalities to provide clients with a custom-made approach in working on their specific issues. EFT is useful for any issue that may have an emotional or energetic root cause or contributor, false beliefs formed from childhood, physical pain, the dis-ease of any kind, relationship issues, addictions or fears. If you love working out but are pressed for time, this is a great out with Kayleigh Cohen. This twenty minute Total Body Tri-Sets workout was perfect, and included the core. In Round 4 it was my first time experiencing a Straight Leg Twist. Make sure you warm up and cool down!

Did you know most people don’t eat enough fibre in their diet?

How Much Fibre Should a Person Eat? Generally, recommendations for adults are between 25 and 40 grams per day, with 20-30% of the total fibre intake being soluble fibre.

Soluble fibre actually slows digestion down. As a result, it tends to stabilize blood glucose levels and facilitate better nutrient absorption. It tends to reduce blood cholesterol. It also increases satiety, so people aren’t inclined to eat as much. Sources of soluble fibre include fruit, vegetables, oats, barley, and legumes.

Black Beans have approximately 12.2 grams of fibre per cup. Black beans have a very mild, earthy, sweet taste and are perfect when combined with spicy flavours and hot seasonings. They are excellent for soup, refried beans, and are wonderful in chocolate brownies.

Goes well with: avocados, cheese, chiles (especially Serrano), chives, cilantro, coriander, cumin, garlic, jalapeños, mint, onions, peppers, rice, sour cream, tequila, tomatoes, and all vegetables.

Somatic Healing with Emotional Freedom and Picture Tapping Techniques

When we think of trauma, we often think of the mind — the thoughts, memories, and emotions we carry. But trauma also lives in the body in our muscles, breath, posture, and nervous system — sometimes for years — quietly shaping how we respond to life.

✨With tools like EFT and PTT, as we tap on specific points or express emotion through imagery, we help the nervous system release old patterns of protection, tension, and fear. These gentle methods remind the body it’s safe again — creating space for peace, clarity, and emotional freedom.

✨Healing doesn’t always happen through talking or analyzing, although that’s helpful. The body knows how to heal and feel safe again; we need to allow it to trust its wisdom when given the space, presence, and compassion to do so.
