My daughter’s birthday is always a little bit emotional for me. She turned 9 this year I have always said she is such a gift but this year I have really started to see how big a gift she really is not just to me but to so many others. Her birth broke me and it has been the rebuilding of me that has been so beautiful. And it has taken me 9 years to be past it enough, strong enough to see the beauty in hitting rock physically and emotionally. I realize now how rock bottom is a great place to build a solid foundation. Is it tough yes did I want to give up yes is it worth it 100%. It has been such a gift to be able to learn from my experience and help others find their strength from the motherhood journey. I am so grateful for Hailey teaching me how to be strong and brave and fierce and kind and loving. If you are feeling broken from your birth I want you to know it gets better you will be stronger for it and you don’t have to do it alone.
