Let’s talk about menopause. Yep…that thing that sneaks up on you like an unexpected pop quiz in high school, but instead of testing algebra, it’s testing your patience, your memory, and apparently your body temperature.
Hot flashes at 3 AM? Check. Forgetting why you walked into the kitchen? Double check. Feeling like you’re living in a dramatic teen rom-com, except you’re the adult and the world doesn’t pause for your hormonal plot twists? Triple check.
Here’s the thing: menopause isn’t something to whisper about like it’s a secret. It’s normal. It’s universal. And yes, it’s often hilarious, sometimes after a glass of wine, sometimes in the middle of a meeting when your face suddenly resembles a toaster.

Ever been told your labs are “normal” but you feel like a tired phone stuck on 12% battery?
Yeah. Same story, different patients.
Lab ranges are averages, not a gold star for feeling amazing. Your body can keep things looking fine on paper while you’re out here surviving on coffee, willpower, and vibes.
Bloodwork is basically a snapshot, not the full documentary. It doesn’t always show stress, burnout, bad sleep, gut drama, or how long you’ve been pushing through.
And just because you’re eating “healthy” doesn’t mean your body is actually absorbing or using what you’re giving it. Digestion and stress have a lot to say about that.
